Well, it's that time of year again, so... who wants to start a PP League?

If so, tell me two things to start: Live or Auction Draft, and Keepers or No Keepers. I'll put up a poll for convenience.

Once we have a decision, I'll start the league and we can decide on a draft time.

I say no keepers and live draft, though my parents might not like me being on the cpu for 4 hours (though I did come in second last year with an autopicked team). I also say we do it on nfl.com. This will always be my second league I play in (along with my youth group's).

If you don't like nfl.com's format, espn is fine with me, we all have accounts on there anyway, plus it seemed pretty relaible last year

Agreed. Keepers or not, I'm fine just as long as it's a live draft, and it's on ESPN.

Hey, I'm with you there, but the crowd has spoken and it looks like we're doing a live draft.

I just like how you have more flexibility on how you wanna build your team with auctions, but guess simplicity is a valid reason as well for the other way.

Okay, the league has standard ESPN settings with these changes:
-There is an added Utility Player spot for any position, and one Injured Reserve spot. Because let's face it, injuries happen, even to the best.
-2 points are added for big games (i.e. 200+ rushing/receiving yards, 400+ passing yards)
-It is PPR, or Points Per Reception. Receivers and running backs who can catch are rewarded immensely with this.
-Instead of 10 and 7 points for allowing 0 or 1-6 points on defense, it's 12 and 8. However, this goes on the other end of the spectrum as well, as 35-45 points subtracts 8 points and 46+ subtracts a dozen points.
-The division names are the Tulips and the Rings
-The Undroppable Player List will not be taken into effect, for injury's sake. If you draft Drew Brees or Chris Johnson in the first round and they pull a Brady and get injured for the rest of the season, I want you to be able to dump them. Of course, if you dump these players to simply give up on your team, you ain't coming back into the league.
-Playoffs will be 4 teams, and will go through Weeks 16-17 of the regular season. I guess this goes with the Droppable Undroppable Players Rule, if someone like Peyton is getting rested for the playoffs.
-The draft picks ARE tradeable. Let's keep these deals fair if we do trade, though.
