This is the role playing game, where you create a character and they play baseball and stuff. This is the original topic, but it died. ![]() DON'T TAKE A POSITION ALREADY TAKEN! WE NEED 1.pitcher These are the members so far. Post if you want to join. I posted what you'll most likely be put at. 1.HitandRun= Coach, and Max Lundgren, SP 2.BrewersFuzz= Buddy George,CF 3.stemmy= Frank Simpson, 2B 4.redsfan= Otaku Kamura,C 5.gocubs09= Zeke Wood, 1B 6.Zumikaku= Keaton O'Bryan,SS 7.cooldude1045= Joe Jorgensen, LF 8.dishnetkid= Ryan Techer, SP 9.LightningMan117= Thomas Valentine RF 10.Robdiesel61= Tobias Baker, 3B 11.Longball= Bob Randomguy, CL 12.PPJ=Clarence Fair, SP Next person to ask whether this is dead or not ON THE TOPIC ITSELF gets their character pulled out. I'm dead serious. You think this is easy, writing up stories, keeping up with all the players stats? Along with the fact there's a poll up, and my policy is to wait A FULL WEEK for results. After 14 FULL DAYS, you may PM me asking what's up. I'm probably just busy with school, sports etc. Or in this case, Holidays. |

You can start making your players. Please make them realistic. PLEASE leave a town and state, because H&R needs town and state names, and age.POST IF YOUR LEFTY OR RIGHTY!! Name: Buddy George B/T= S/R Position: Center Field 2nd Position: Left Field ( you can put none if you don't want a 2nd position) Best Skill: great hitter, above average speed. Short Bio: Buddy is a 19 year old major league prospect from Northwood, North Dakota, who has great contact and decent power, and slightly above average speed. He loves batting leadoff. He always has his light brown hair buzzed off, so he doesn't get hot playing baseball. He is 6'2", and weighs only about 190 pounds. He is very tall, and very skinny. He doesn't do very well in, school, but he gets by. Baseball is very important to him, because he loves it, and he won't be able to get a job if he fails it. traj.=2 contact=C power=D speed=C fielding=E arm strength=D error res.=D |

Here is the story: Ten years ago in a prestigious summer baseball league(Up in Portland Oregon), there was a super star SS, only 18 years. His name was Allen Gray and he was on a fast track to the majors. He played for the Zulu Stingers(we can vote on a new name) and he was headed for the draft next summer, when he was driving in a car with his friends, when they ran a red light and got into a car crash. One was killed and the other 3 were in serious condition. Gray had tore some ligaments in his elbow. Gray was forced to finish the season, but ended servilely injuring his arm in a practice. He then was sent the the Zulu team doctor who referred him to a surgeon. Gray undertook the surgery, but it failed and his arm was almost beyond repair. Gray never through another baseball in his life.... Now the present the Zulu Stingers have never lost a championship and are the dominating presence in the summer league. With no competition besides one or two teams the league lost its prestigious value, only players that come to the top 3 teams are headed towards the majors, the rest are young men who can't let their faint dream go. On April 8 a phone call came for the now 28 year old Allen Grey, a new team has formed to try and balance the ranks of the summer league and they want Grey to be their coach. Grey wanting revenge now enters the as the ______(we can vote on the name) team's coach. grey know has two and a half months to create a team that can challenge the Zulu Stingers. What do you guys think? |

Great! The changes are good. How about the Oregon Apples? Or the Oregon Pine Trees? Oregon is famous for their Christmas trees, and they produce many apples. |

Aw... fine. First: Keaton Last: O'Bryan Postion: SS 2nd Pos: 2B Best Skill: Fielding B/T: R/R Bio: Keaton is much better at school than baseball, but since he's been involved in the sport since 1st grade, he decided not to just give it up and tried out for the team. Even though he edged out other players as starting shortstop, he doesn't have much self-confidence and beats himself up for making a mistake. This has also interfered with his social life, making it hard for him to make friends. CON: E PWR: F RUN: D ARM: D FLD: C E RES: D EDIT: OK, I made this up before the story was posted. If his being SS interferes with any storyline you have planned, H&R, he can be a 2B instead. ANOTHER EDIT: 1000th post!!!!!!!!!! ![]() |

First: Zeke Last: Wood Position: 1B Second: 3B Best Skill:Contact Age: 22 Hometown: Naperville, IL B/T: R/R Bio: Zeke lived in Illinois all his life until he was a junior in high school when he moved to Portland for the summer to live with his grandma. He was the star firstbaseman on his varsity baseball team, and his grandma's house was right down the block from the Stinger's field. He loved seeing future MLB players play all summer. After his Senior season he looked for universities to start playing baseball for. He chose to go to a struggling Oregon program. The Ducks have never got close to a Pac 10 championship. In Wood's Senior season the Ducks, the Ducks were in first in the Pac 10, but in the Pac 10 Tourney Championship, the Ducks lost in extra innings to rival Oregon State. He has since been recruited into the (Northwest Summer Baseball League?). Stats: Trajectory: 2 Contact: C Power: E Speed: F Fielding: E Arm Strength: D Error Resistance: D |

If his being SS interferes with any storyline you have planned, H&R, he can be a 2B instead. No he is fine the SS was the coach. Allen Grey walked into the Oregon Apple's Training Facility. It was a lot bigger than he thought it would be considering that he was a coach on a summer league team. "Ah hello Mr. Gray." Grey turned around to see the owner of the team Bob Pilfery. Mr Pilfery is one of the richest men on the west coast which says a lot. He has the third biggest yacht in the world and I honestly couldn't understand why he would be owning a summer baseball league instead of a major league team. "Hello to you Mr. Pilfery." "Mr Grey, come with me I will show you your office." The two men walked the empty corridors past empty locker rooms and empty weight rooms. "Um.. Mr Pilfery where are the players?" "Mr. Grey I thought you knew we were an empty roster." "But what about the entrance draft?" "Mr Grey I thought you knew about the rules of this summer league all new teams must be completely responsible for fielding their team." Two hours later Grey was overheating his computer searching for prospects all over America. So far he has only found 3 liable prospects a dynamic fielding SS Keaton O'Bryan and solid hitting CF Buddy George and hometown 1B Zeke Wood . Grey picked up the phone and decided to call them there was no answer at O'Bryan's household(hopefully he was out playing baseball) or the Wood's residence, but there was an answer at the George household. "Hello!?" answered on the other end "Hi, I am Allen Grey coach of the Oregon Apples in the Pantoria Summer league, and I was wondering if you would like to come for a team tryout?" "What, really this is great news!" "Yes, team tryouts will be in 2 weeks on April 18, but of course I need your parents permission." "Okay I will be there!" PS We you create you character please include age and hometown. |
