I used to have it.
My little brother rented it at Blockbuster thinking it was a kiddie game. The cover does scream I'M A KIDS GAME!

Here's a list, copied and pasted from my post on an Elder Scrolls forum, so you know it's unbiased.

Quote:
1. MLB Power Pros Series (MLB Power Pros 2008, if you can't vote on a series), a great baseball series, currently consisting of only two games (The normal, 2007 version, and the 2008 version). Contains a great character creation mode with plenty of RPG elements. The games also have great graphics, and surprising realism. The 2008 game also has a mode where you can play a career as any MLB player, one of your created players, or you can create a player from scratch.

2. TES IV, Oblivion, a solid game good for wasting more than 20 full days of my life (500+ hours).

3. Paper Mario, good graphics, great music, great gameplay, and good dialogue.

4. Mario Superstar Baseball, a lot better than it's sequel, however it is really easy so playing multiplayer is ideal for replay value.

5. Super Smash Brothers Brawl, good multiplayer, decent single player, not much else to say.

Honorable mentions (games I haven't played long enough to judge or didn't make top 5):

TES III, Morrowind: Haven't really got into it too much yet, but it seems fun. Also, I really love how bad of a computer can run this. My laptop runs it fine with a few mods and it pretty much can't even run Sims 2 anymore.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets: For just being downright hilariously awful, I have many fond memories of laughing so hard at events that happened in that game, whether intentionally included in the story, or not (jumping off of the castle).

Lost Kingdoms: It has a great battle system, good gameplay, unfortunately some cards are overpowered, and even with multiplayer, the replay isn't that great.

McDonalds Treasureland Adventure: Mostly for the same reasons as Harry Potter, but this one actually had decent gameplay and can actually prove challenging. It was pretty fun when I was younger.

Note that this list is written mostly from memory, so something probably slipped my mind.

My top 5 video games in no apparent order

* The last ninja 1&2 best series produced, but for a very old system the old commodore 64
* Grand theft auto series (If I had to go with one it would be Vice City)
* NFL 2K5
* MLB power Pros 2008 (I never got 2007)
*Tony LaRussa Baseball '94 (It was the first baseball game that got me hooked into baseball)

No particular order:

- MLB Power Pros series
- Skate It
- Madden (as long as it's somewhat realistic, really).
- Pokemon (Oh yes, I still play it. Sue me. :P)
- Rock Band/Guitar Hero (Expert on guitar, Hard on Drums, and a damn good singing voice)

Honorable Mention is Okami, that game is both beautiful and fun to play. Many critics have said it's better than Twilight Princess, and for good reason.

And as for retro gaming, I do that too. I grew up playing an N64 and even the SNES. I've played all three versions of Super Smash Bros, played all versions of Mario Kart at some point, and love Tecmo Super Bowl (on the SNES). It was Madden before Madden was big. Plus, it had the Nigerian Nightmare, Christian Okoye. ;)

Skate It is awesome. But I hate Reda or whoever that guy is that yells at you the whole time.
N64 was the bomb way back in the old days.

Hm, this is a mix of games that are really good and games I got addicted to back when I was a little kid who got entertained by everything. :P

5. Kingdom Hearts (My first video game ever, and it was pretty good, too)
4. Ratchet & Clank 3 (I got this when I was way too young to play it. :P I still use online mode sometimes)
3. Sly Cooper series (From back when I was a kid. My friend and I played it together a lot. Sly 2 was the 1st game I beat)
2. SSB Brawl (I don't play it as much as power pros anymore, but I do play it when I get sick of PP)
1. MLB Power Pros series (does this need an explanation?)

Honorable Mentions:
SSX Trickey (My sister, my best friend, and I used to play this constantly)
Star Wars Battlefront (Another game my friend and I played together when he came over)
N:CoNR 2 (Just copy&paste that into youtube. Back when I liked Naruto I would play this a lot)
Mario Kart Wii (It's good for whenever I need a break from Power Pros)

Yes, the helmet mode does rock. Along with the celbrities calling you in your crib to play your custon teams.

Thrillville one. Haha, I restarted yesterday and I'm already on the foruth park. I want 2, but I need space for PP files haha.

Battlefront: Campaign: Amazing, Galaxy Conquest: Cool, but not my kind of thing, Multiplayer: Fun, but laggy. I like Instant Action Conquest the best. Except against the CIS, ugh, stupid droids.
