Hey guys, I know we have the thread for the other fantasy baseball league that I created but I thought if we were talking about two different leagues there it would get confusing. So use this thread instead for sjax's league discussion.

Great draft last night. Sjax thought he was screwed when he had to leave for dinner but it actually helped him to save money for later. I learned that in an auction draft it is best to save your money until the end. I had lots of fun though and I actually built a great team despite my early spending. I have probably the best starting pitching in the league, and plenty of surplus starters, so if you need some extra SP just send me a message.

I snapped up all the best infielders early on, and I think I did a pretty good job near the end considering the amount of money I had left. I'm gonna see if I can work out a trade with you, Bobby. Other than King Felix and Greinke, my pitching sucks :P Still, I'd like to see you guys beat Mauer, Pujols, Pedroia, Wright, Tulowitzki, Texeira, and Kemp!

I love love love quality pitching, so I will trade for King Felx, Greinke, Dan Haren, Halladay even.
I will trade Carlos Lee, and possibly other guys, depending on the offer.
Set up your trading blocks, though, too.

And yes, I had to go to dinner, but bought a bunch of midlevel guys that should keep my team afloat. Still would like a superstar batter/pitcher, though. The only real big bat I have is Ian Kinsler...

Zumi, who was it on my team that you wanted? Was it Brian McCann, Miguel Cabrera, Evan Longoria, Justin Upton, Jacoby Ellsbury, Justin Verlander, Cliff Lee, Edwin Jackson, Yovani Gallardo, Clayton Kershaw, Mark Buerhle, Ubaldo Jimenez, or Joba Chamberlain? Oh yeah that's right, you don't want any of those guys because you infield is soooooo great. :D

And by the way, I got Joba for ONE DOLLAR.

Oh, yeah? I got Big Z, Ryan Dempster, Carlos Marmol, Javier Vazquez Scott Kazmir and JD Drew for $1!

P.S. Mauer > McCann, Pujols > Cabrera, Wright > Longoria, Kemp > Upton, Hernandez > Verlander, Greinke > Lee, Zambrano > Gallardo, Dempster > Kershaw, Kazmir > Jimenez

AND MARK BUERHLE SUCKS! :P

hate to burst your bubble, but he does anything but suck.

By the way, first trade of the season:

Phoenix Phoenix receives Kendry Morales
Charleston Polar Bears receive Tommy Hanson.

That's me and yankeehawk respectively.
I think it's a very fair trade, I needed homers and he needed Hanson.

Underline means you are wrong and bold means you are terribly wrong. And Carlos Marmol sucks.

And sjax that wasn't me it was some guy from simyard, B mc. Whoever that is,

I realized that, whoops.
It was actually yankeehawk from SY.

Just a reminder guys, if you want to discuss trades and stuff you can do that here.

DNK, since we got our deal worked out in the other league, can we resume talks for Hanley now in the Super Duper League?

Trade I just made:

I get:
Geovany Soto
Rick Porcello
Mark DeRosa

Cheese gets:
Franklin Gutierrez
Asdrubal Cabrera

Comments? DeRosa'll probably ride the pine, but I needed a new C and Porcello only helps my pitching staff...

I just hope Porcello was on your bench today. Gave up 4 runs in 4 innings against Texas today...

I don't like that trade for you sjax. Soto is way overrated and hasn't had a good year since his rookie year. I think he was a one and done kind of guy. Porcello is a nice pickup, but pitchers usually have second year dropoffs after hitters figure out their stuff. I don't understand why you got DeRosa. Guttierez and Cabrera will both hit for good average and get lots of steals. Guttierez will hit plenty of homers too, and both players will probably have plenty of runs. I think this was a pretty bad move for you.
