Hey guys I think it would be great if we had a PP World fantasy baseball league. I already set up a league on ESPN where I would be the LM and we would have H2H 5x5 (HR, RBI, R, SB, OBP and for pitchers ERA, WHIP, K, QS, and SVHD) keeper league. It would also be completely free and we'd be playing for just bragging rights. Of course I could use this as a seperare league and we could make a new league with different rules if you wanted. But we'd need to see who wants to participate in this. You would have to be active all season preferably at least 3 days a week especially in the summertime when baseball is in full spring, and you can't cheat. I would love to be the commish and ESPN has great fantasy baseball so just post here if you are interested. You will also have to give me your email address so I could invite you but you can do that through PM. You don't even need to send your email right away but you can if you want. I just want to see how many people are interested in doing this.

I am thinking that for it to be a good league we would need at least 8 members, but we can have as many as 20.

Any suggestions for the rules? I really want it to be H2H Categories and keeper league, plus I really like the categories I already said but open to suggestions.

you can keep some players from year to year, making youth even more valuable.

I like this a lot, though of course I'd prefer an auction draft.
Especially with keepers, it'd be so cool to buy and keep our players and everything.

yj, the imbisiles at 2K Sports have not given any info on PP10.

I have never done an auction draft and I kind of want to keep it simple. A live draft is good though. If we did an auction draft and you couldn't get on the computer, how does the auto draft know how much to bid? I REALLY dont want to do auction draft.

Me and sjax were thinking of making it 6x6 and changing it to this:
HR, RBI, R, SB, BA, OPS, and then K, ERA, WHIP, QS, SVHD and K/BB

Auction autodrafting is just as good/better than regular draft autodrafting, trust me.
They won't bid above ESPN's predicted values too, so you won't overpay for a guy you don't want.

Anyways, I have created a superleague, a 16x16, if any of you want to join.
I just thought it'd be fun, and it'd be a decent challenge for you guys

I'LL JOIN! I think I prefer live drafts. I done fantasy baseball on mlb.com before, so I'm used to live drafting. The problem would be finding a time we could all be there.

I have yet to create the league but I have all the settings ready as long as nobody comes along and has other suggestions. I will create the league as soon as we get more people. The only thing is I don't know if I can add more people to the league after I have set it up. So upon creating the league if I say it will be an 8 person league, I don't know if I can then add two more people to make it a 10 person league. That's why I am waiting.

But in the meantime you have to make ESPN accounts in case you haven't already.
