Happy new year everyone! If you guys think you had the first post of 2010 just think about where. You may have the first post in 2010 for the East Coast but someone else will have had the first post in 2010 for England, someone else for China, someone else for the International dateline. Whoever had the first post for 2010 for the international dateline was officially the first poster of 2010 if you think about it. |

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! I think Dick Clark should retire but I don't really watch the ball drop. Its the same thing every year. Well, remember, he had a major stroke a few years back, and speech is getting a little better every year. So you can't say he's "dumb" because he missed a number on the countdown. |

I didn't watch him, I watched Travis Pastrana break a world record by jumping 274 feet over a harbor in Long Island in a rally car. Travis Pastrana is amazing. |

Think about it. The first year was Year One, no? So the first decade was year 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10. SO, the beginning of the decades would be 11, 21, 31, 41... 1981, 1991, 2001, 2011, NOT 2010! The decade is not over. ![]() |

Yes apple but think about it. 1950-1959 was the 1950s. 1980-1989 was the 1980. So 2000-2009 was the 2000s. Therefore, 2010-2019 is the 2010s. |

Bobby, your way is the way we use, the traditional way, Apple's is the logical way. ![]() We do it for convenience, just like how a day isn't exactly 24 hours (23 hours, 56 minutes, 4.2 seconds, and yes, I did that from memory. Learned it from a book when I was about 7. ![]() |
