Hey guys, I know we have all given up on another Power Pros game coming out in America and we are all disappointed. I know there has been a huge problem with spam and many people consider this board to be falling apart. But even if there is never going to be another Power Pros game, why does this board have to die? Sure it was meant to be about Power Pros but we are all mostly around the same age, most of us are boys in middle school and high school and we all have a lot in common. I don't know about what you think but I think you are all pretty cool guys. Why can't this just be a forum to talk about whatever we want? That is pretty much what it is already. Simyard, MLB, youtube videos, other video games, school, music etc is mostly what we talk about and that is fine. Of course guys like Alloutwar still posting players and goodways giving us Japanese game information is cool too and gives us more Power Pros related stuff. What I am saying is that this forum doesn't have to die. We can still talk about whatever we want, right?

Yeah, you're probably right. If PP10 isn't gonna come out, we can do something that, no offense, Cubs fans have been doing a lot:

Wait 'til next year. Just saying.

I'm going to keep putting up players, maybe a log now and then, whenever I can sneak away from real life and get embroiled for a few hours. I'm going to try to create all the worthwhile players that debut'd in 2008 or 2009 to make my game playable for the next few years, in case there is no better baseball game available. And I'll update the wiki with anything new I find.

Some people are still buying Wiis for the first time, and I'm recommending this game for those that like baseball and dislike the EA/MLB/The Bigs fare. So I hope this site stays up for the next few years, for new gamers to come on, find players and teams they want, and learn about the game in-depth.

I'm not gonna be on or active every day, but I'll show up every few months.

I was wondering the same thing: Why does this forum have to die? Unless DS shuts the site down, we can still talk about fantasy teams, the MLB, SimYard, and many other things. Even though I don't post too often, I still read most of the stuff on here, and the stuff about wanting to bury 2k into the ground as well as the sports world interests me and gets rid of my boredom. All in all, I would be very depressed to see the forum crash and burn.

Let's see, which minor league lineup will the Pirates put together today?

psssttt...yeah right. I hate to say this to a lot of people, but this place is like a junkyard now. Because of too much spam, rude people, cursing people, cyberbullys, etc. This needs to stop. People need to stop telling people like me and chito to get lost. I am thinking of restarting the MLBPPWORLD Hall of Fame except one rule...you have to have experience in the MLB, You have to be a retired player, and nobody on this board is eligible. Not even me, so don't whine. All the people so called "inducted" in February 2010 for MLBPPWORLD Hall Of Fame is revoked. Nobody's in the MLBPPWORLD Hall Of Fame...not yet. I will post a seperate topic regarding this. So please, stop whining people.

Thanks,
randyjohnson51...

1) I hate to say this, but you are the only one of everyone interested in the "MLBPPWORLD Hall of Fame". No one else seems to really care. You should not be voting people in based on nominations itself. There should be a fair, democratic voting process such that the people who deserve to get it should get it. I'm strongly against this idea still as this is a community forum and there is no reason we should be judging who is better than who.

2) Randyjohnson, who are you to decide the rules. Though you are the creater of the "MLBPPWORLD Hall of Fame", you are the only one that has the powers to make the rules. No one else gets to decide. The Hall of Fame has more than one chair person in order to make the decisions FAIR. If you are going to do this, I suggest you get at least 2 more people in so that there is an odd numbers and you could vote to decide what rules should be implimented and what rules should be thrown in the trash can.

3) What is the purpose of the "MLBPPWORLD Hall of Fame"? Is it to make people feel bad about themselves if they are not elected and to make the people that got in brag about it? You suggested that you have to be in the MLB and be retired. Frankly, no one in this forum qualifies for that. If you are going to talk about the real world hall of fame, thats different. If you were not aware that such a place already existed, its named cooperstown by the way, then I congratulate you.

4) I suggest you do not create another topic concerning this. If not, it will be just as much spam as RD's previous posts.

5) Please note that all these are just mere suggestions and that you are not ordered, in anyway, to follow these suggestions that I gave you. Thank You.

I'm going to say two things, each of them worth a penny.
1 penny + 1 penny = 2 cents ;)

1. You just want posts now. Changing the HoF to having nobody in is pointless, other than nabbing you 2 extra posts. 1 will be the change, and another will be a BS argument. Of course, that doesn't mean that everyone should go jump on the bandwagon and peg stones at randy/marvin here (yes, I remember that), let it die.

2. We should seriously create a topic for just arguing with each other. It'd be the longest topic on the site just like that. I try to hold my tongue for the most part, but you all saw what I said about chitopr in FMU, and someone's gotta try and keep things in check.
Obviously, I'm not doing as well a job as I had hoped.

The way to keep things in check is to IGNORE IT. Ignore randy and his hall of fame, it means nothing. Just don't even acknowledge that spam like that was ever posted. I think from now on posts that just criticize people for spam will also be considered spam. Go.

THANK YOU BOBBY!!! You just said what I've been thinking all along.

But back on topic, we can keep this forum alive. We can talk about baseball, sprots, other video games etc. I had thought of leaving this place on the one year anniversary of my joining due to spammers and ranters (see FMU), but I've decided to stay.
