I was just wondering, because there are a lot of Japanese games that I want. And in this process for a 4.1 Wii does it do anything bad to it, like void the warranty, or just flat out break the internal workings of the system? Any help is great.

Okay what you did wrong was Upgrade your WII. This what I did I used the twight hack to downgrade mine to the 3.2, when I had 3.4. So I could play PPWII. You may just have to mod it. Try looking on youtube, thats how I hacked my WII and PSP.
