Is anyone else a fan here? I'm not talking like a: Yea, I'll check the scores for my home team sometimes. I'm talking about following your team(s) all year round, with transfer, etc. Really rooting for them. Go to games regularly.

First off, what teams do you support?

I follow:
Revolution (MLS)
Rangers (SPL)
Man Utd (Barclays)
AC Milan (Serie A)
On occasion I'll look at Lyon in the Ligue
Athletico Madrid (La Ligue)
Very rarely I'll check the A-League, particulary Melbourne Victory

Thankfully I'm an American so I can support all these teams safely.
I'm sure you can see that obviously I dislike, Internazionale Milan, Chelsea, and Celtic.

I'm pretty excited about the MLS in next years. They are going to be getting a plethora of new teams soon. Philadelphia, Portland Timber (Oregon), and Vancouver Whitecaps are all going to be expansion teams. And with the success of the Seattle Sounders I'm sure a bunch of cities are lining up for a team and cash in with the success.

In Serie A (that's pronounced Serie Ahh for those who don't know) I was surprised that it's going to break away from Serie B which means that Serie B is going to now also be lvl 1 on the pyramaid. I think that now instead of 10 lvls on the pyramaid from which to be promoted to and relegated to is going to decrease to 9 lvls.

Anyone else have news around the vast world of soccer?

I'm a hard core Man Utd fan.

I ditch school to watch the champions league finals...but they lost >.<

I don't follow MLS cause its pretty boring and uninteresting...

Real Madrid seems interesting, with Kaka and Ronaldo (Screw him...)

I play soccer too.

I played soccer up until High School, was pretty good.

Don't even recall the Champions league finals never ever. Stupid Barca.

Real Madrid has basically spent a ton of it's funds. Did you hear that UEFA is trying to prevent those kinds of tranfers? (Over 100million) Or outspending their amount of soccer related income. Real Madrid should absolutely dominate. I hope they crush Barca.

The MLS hs gotten better. But Beckham hasn't done anything to help the sport here.... He's not even that good of a player to me...

Sorry but i am probably with out a doubt the biggest soccer fan here!!! And probably one of the biggest soccer fans u ever meet! Soccer is myy favorite sport, i follow almost every big league in the world, but mainly the big five in europe(spain, england, italy, germany, france) and the mexican league. Go Pachuca!!! Man U was the first team i ever liked, but i mean back in the day when Dwight Yorke played, not so much now, i prefer Arsenal(i know, rivals) or Barca(they play amazingly good). Any conversation or question u have about soccer, i'm your man! Yup yup, i love my footy.

I used to follow every league, but now I bearly follow, even the EPL. Wow Yorke, that is long. I think I started when I was 4? They won the Treble that year.

I use to play soccer until high school myself. I like LA Galaxy. I don't see anything wrong with Beckham execpt maybe a money hog. I like AC Milan as well. But I have always like Holland and Germany when it came to the Olympics and FIFA World Cup. US has gotten better in both of those just they seem to let it slip away all the time.

I like Brazil and Ecuador internationally.
EPL: Liverpool (Damn you Man U! ) I actually do like Man U though, just not as much. I can't stand Chelsea though.
La Liga: Barca. Easy. I love Samuel Eto'o, I have his jersey.

My family doesn't care for Soccer, unless the U.S. is playing in the world cup...

Anyways my dad hates it because of all the horns and whistles and cheering and everything.

I coach U6 and U8 girls soccer. This is my daughter's 1st season in U8 and has been playing goalie half the game, doing exceptional well according to our coach (I'm assiting this year). Me and my daughter will watch a few minutes or so of it on tv if girls are playing.

I'll watch soccer.

But only if there are no NFL, MLB, NHL, Minor League Baseball, Minor League Hockey, NBA, College Football, College BasketBall, College Hockey, College baseball, Golf, Boxing, Tennis, World Championship Poker, curling, horse racing, Women's basketball, Nascar, Bull Riding or Figure Skating on.

So, I guess not.

I'm glad I'm not the only the one who loves soccer here.

Anyways, one thing I really hate it that if you mention the National Team to someone they'll probably say that they are terrible. People need to relize that we are a great team, we beat Spain 2-0 we didn't just beat them, we got a clean sheet!! We should have beaten Brazil though but not much we can do about that. I look for the US to atleast make the Round of 16 in 2010.

JcS, Who do you think will win the SPL this year? As a Rangers fan, I think the Rangers will win it, but what do you think? And do you think that this is the year that someone breaks the Old Firm tradition? I think Dundee United or maybe even Hearts has a chance, but I doubt it'll happen.
