I need some help: I'm getting a laptop for Christmas, but I don't know what to get. My limit is around $400-$500, though the less I spend the more I can get in terms of photography equipment and other stuff. I like this one: http://reviews.cnet.com/laptops/compaq- ... 95854.html I'm worried that it might be too slow, but otherwise... I'm going to be on Youtube a lot, I'm going to listen to a LOT of music (listening to silversun pickups right now), and it's not unusual for me to have 4 or more tabs up, as well as another application (like baseball mogul 2010 demo right now) any suggestions? |

Always look at things like the processor, RAM, hard drive space (if you plan on putting a lot of stuff on your computer), etc. |

I know, what I like about that one laptop is the 3 GB RAM. 160GB hard drive is good enough for me. I'd preferably want at least Intel's Dual-Core Processor. |

I actually have this here. It was a graduation present from a teacher. I'm always running iTunes, World of Warcraft/Warcraft, Out of the Park Baseball and MSN/AIM at the same time without any trouble. |

That sounds nice! My computer has a about an 160 GB hard drive and that is PLENTY for me. I'm probably only using a very small fraction of it, and yes, two processors are always better than one. ![]() |

Yeah, I like that one. I have one of those netbooks, the really small laptops. Laptops are always good to have at a fantasy draft, even if it's offline, and it holds all the rankings lists and other stuff I need. I like that computer better, especially the price. ![]() |

I used to have that laptop, but someone (little brother) did something, that I still don't know broke it. For the time I had it, it was a great laptop. I'd highly recommend it. |
