http://www.comcast.net/articles/sports- ... B-Players/ Amen Rice, Amen. But really, you know what he's right. A-Rod shouldn't allowed into the Hall of Fame, nor should Bonds, and Petitte, and all the others who used to sterioids. I think it should be an unwritten rule that anybody using Steriods shouldn't be allowed into the Hall of Fame. |

That's pretty much what I think about the Steroid Era of baseball. Any player that used steroids, whether for recovering from injuries or other reasons, simply should not be able to be elected among baseball's greats. That's also another reason why I'm rooting for Pujols to beat Bonds' record for Home Runs. Go Jim Rice! ![]() |

Say what you want about Jose Cansaco but just about everything he said has come true. He fingered Arod, bonds, clemons...eventho Jose has been ripped by the MLB. Jose has said that there is a player that is in the Hall of Fame that HAS used steriods! If Jose is once again true then what should happen to that player? Wanna take a guess as to whom it maybe? |

Babe Ruth. But I know for a fact that he had god-given talent, even though he got drunk a lot! The drinking is probably how he got his power. But don't take any hints from that. |

Where the hell did that come from. I don't know what he's talking about. Pettite wasn't a hall of famer to begin with, ever. Manny shouldn't be more then A-Rod, as it looks like he's been doing it his whole career or a good chunk. Of course no one talks about him, only A-Rod. |

Jose is now one of the most hated players in the clubhouses of the MLB because he had turned all these guys in for steriods. But honestly, my opinon is that all records broken DONT stand but Hall of Fame status is still a possiblity. Then again, it is up to the voters to decide who gets in. |

Nobody talked about Manny beacause at the time we didn't know whether or not he took steriods, it seemed likely but not 100% sure. What do you mean rips against Jeter? It seems like the Bobby Scale's and Rico Washington's are the only real baseball players. I fear it's only a matter of time until Jim Thome or Albert Pujols are found to have taked steroids, but I hope that day never comes. |

"You see a Manny Ramirez, you see an A-Rod [Alex Rodriguez], you see [Derek] Jeter ... Guys that I played against and with, these guys you're talking about cannot compare," Rice said to Little Leaguers gathered in the cafeteria. Here you go. Jose Canseco is one of the most hated players in baseball for taking steroids, being an asshole, and lieing about others taking it. His story about A-Rod taking it? Completely different from what happened. Jose is a lieing jerk who does anything to get attention and sell his books. I am amoung those who hate him very much. And I'm in a bad mood, which is fueling my rant. |

Of course David Roidtiz wasn't mentioned because Rice played for the Sox. |

He can say that stuff about current players on the red sox that haven't admitted yet or else he'd be gone. Just a guess but it could be true |

Even though I hate the Yankees, Jeter is a good ballplayer and I have a good deal of respect for him. He did not take PEDs. Neither did Pujos. Trust me. Also, if Dustin Pedrioa took steroids (which he most likely didn't, look at him, I may be taller and weigh more than him ![]() |

Or Pedroida. Also, I sorta like Jeter because he grew up in K-Zoo. |
