I'm getting tired of 2K keeping us in the dark about a game they'll probably never release again, so I'm thinking of just going to the dark side with a PS2 or Wii torrent of MLB PP '09.

Has anyone else done this before? How well did it work?

As far as I know, there are no consistant Wii or PS2 emulators.

Also talking about roms and stuff is illegal we probably shouldn't do it.

Emulators are used to play old school games on any computer, Google it.

Roms are the games, they are illegal obviously.

Torrents are compressed files that usually contain, music, movies and other stuff. It's Shareware, which is frowned upon I believe.

Torrents can be used to download games for any platform. To be honest, I use Torrents sometimes. Emulator is kinda dumb, espically for Wii. For something like Pokemon or Megaman, it might work, but MLBPP games are kinda hard.

so it is possible eh?

I'll look into this with my parents and see if I can do this

And I'm gonna guess that this is with the japan version, which would probably require wii hacking which is bad

A emulator is a program that allow you to play games on the computer.

A torrent is something that allows you to download games for free, but illegally and you can play on PSP, Wii, DS etc.

The easiest way I've found was to buy the original game (japanese version). Have a modded Wii and play the game. On the PS2 side of the house I've seen numerous torrent sites with the PS2 version, probably it's easy to get the game files I don't know. But for some reason the players in japan and state side haven't uploaded the 09 version yet. I have a homebrew channel that lets you insert a Wii game. The Wii reads the disc and send's the ISO file over your wifi connection/ethernet, or even puts the file on a big enough SD card. This is the file that can be burnt onto a blank DVD and be played. When I've tried the power pro 09 it allways says theres an error.

If you look down it says something about what could happen if you get power pros 2009 downloaded

Is there any way to get this game without getting prosecuted/arrested

And what ways can I buy the Japan version without a torrent?
