Topic.

Since it's July, it's time to start thinking about what's gonna happen at the trade deadline.

Adam Dunn and Chrisian Guzman are gonna be traded

Matt Holliday is gonna get traded

Doug Davis is gonna be traded

If Jake Peavy is healthy enough then he's gonna get traded

I'm not sure where any of these guys will go though, I think the Giants should get either Dunn, Guzman or Holliday if they're going to compete

I think that the Rangers should go after Davis, if Texas wants to stay in competition for the AL west title, then they're gonna need some more pitching

I also think the Rockies should try to get Holliday back because he puts up amazing numbers when hes with Colorado, not just because of coors field but he's also done better on the road each year but not this year

I highly doubt it. He has two or three years left on a high contract, and I don't think any team wants that.

Big salary? Ha! Ask the Yankees! They're the perfect reason that MLB needs a Salary Cap.

Peavy to the Phillies

Here's why Peavy wants to be in the NL. The Phillies are in it. A competitive team. The Phillies are the defending champs. The phillies have a blank spot in there rotation.

If Guzman is the best we can do, I'm rooting for the Rays. :?
Dunn or Holliday would be great, Holliday wouldn't have to move too far, and his bat would really help.
We could also place Adam Dunn at first base (which started last year) to make up for his defensive inefficiency while adding one of the best power bats this decade/century/millenium.
And with Bonds gone, we still have quite a bit of cap space, Rowand or not.
