2nd time in a week. There was another post with this type of mature content a few days ago. I PM'ed DS about it and he deleted. I think only he and I saw it. Maybe we ought to have background checks. The other guy listed a porn website as his website for his profile. Or some kind of filter or tighter moderation. |

that reminds me, we need more moderators, 2/3 isn't enough to delete all the spam this forum is gonna have as it gets more popular |

Yeah, I just PM'ed DarkShade about this, and asked for moderating privileges. I think MaxDSterling, Marvin Card, and DS are the only ones. |

Due to the simplistic method of PHPBB2's "Human test", bots can register and post (usually on the first topic in the first category). An upgrade to PHPBB3 may improve this (and make it harder for visually impaired folk to view) with the upgraded CAPTCHA. The hottest programs can crack the most common captcha variations across the internet with surprising efficiency. We've also added 1-2 more mods to be prepared for the 2008 release... perhaps by then we'll have solved the bulk of the spam issues. |

Is CAPTCHA the thing you sometimes get when you do a google search? Because that image is sometimes way too hard to read and it's really annoying. |

Yep, it's that annoying technology that makes you have to type in codes to prove you're a real person, and is rather ineffective unfortunately. |
