Bumping Topics.

There is really no reason to bump a topic from October just so it is on the "View active topics" screen. Unless you have new information to support the thread and it's ideas, is a relevant comment, or a unfulfilled success mode character please don't bump the topic.

This is not a relevant comment :bump:

I know that some people have been using random bumps of topics to revive "good" topics but that's just not cool. If you are doing this to inflate your post don't. You know who you are. Most of the more mature people on this forum don't care about post count. If you need to go back to school to learn how to spell or compose sentences that are actual sentences then go ahead and do so. Your random posts about nothing do nothing for the server but hurt it. Posting with meaning

Otherwise, thanks for your dedication and information about power pros that keep this server alive.

I'm not trying to lecture you. I'm just saying with the lack of mods around, we need to make this forum look professional so we can attract new members.

I believe it's ok in logs as well (provided it's your log, that is.)

Ok. I know bumping topics is pointless and I'm TOTALLY against it. But i have once bumped a topic because I thought it was a good topic. I belive that is a reason you could bump a topic. Still you should have something to add to the conversation.

it's okay if you have information to add to the thread.

But if it's like, 5 months old? I think it's pretty much dead at that point.

I have :bump: -ed topics before, but they were mostly good topics that I had questions on. I think :bump: -ing topics can be helpful, as :bump: -ing dead topics is not as bad as creating 5 topics for one subject that has been answered already.

I suppose that's okay, as long as it really does contribute.
