I was looking at ESPN and it showed something that was kinda funny.
The Rays made an error with their lineup which had Zobrist AND Longoria at third so now they Rays have to have Zobrist at third, Longoria on the bench, and now Sonnanstine is in the 3 hole because they lost their DH

This is probably one of the wierdest things that 've seen in baseball

How could you forget Micah Owings!?!? The Reds are thinking about starting him at a position when he's not playing.

That would defeat the purpose of him being a pitcher!

Ummm not really....

Look at his batting numbers I woul start him in between, the D-Backs did once or twice. He's a good pitcher too.

What he means is that the Diamondbacks were thinking of playing him as a fielder on days he doesnt pitch. By the way, they wanted to play him at 1B.

No, it was the D-Backs that did start him at 1st a couple times and wanted to do that.

However the Reds have also considered doing that as well.

Brandon Backe was used frequently as a pinch hitter.
