How can you crop out the background for pictures that are on the wiki of Alvin and Frank etc. to look like mine? I can't seem to figure it out. Can anyone help? |

Do you have any graphics programs other than MS Paint? I don't believe it supports GIF with transparency or PNG with alpha channel. |

Sorry, you're out of luck then. Paint is really limited. I'm sure there are free graphics programs out there, but I haven't used any of them, so I couldn't recommend one. |

Well my dad could probably do it, I'll ask him some time. I'm pretty sure he's got photoshop.... |

Could you just make the background white? Never mind, that can't work here, every second post is light blue. |

I think sometime in a computers class, I learned of a website like that. Here it is: http://www.phixr.com/photo/ When you click "Edit photo", you'll get a temporary account that will be deleted after 15 minutes to edit a photo. You can get it off your hard drive or online. |

Does it make the pic have no background? |

Perhaps you should try Paint.NET. (It's a free Windows program, not a site.) Its feature set appears to fall in the middle ground between those of Paint and Photoshop, including transparency. It's popular and highly-rated at CNET downloads. http://www.getpaint.net/ |

It's a software download... Sorry but I can't really download software for multiple reasons. |
