"With this particular pitch, Frasor doesn't use a traditional grip for a split-finger fastball, though -- it is a splitter-changeup hybrid. The right-hander holds the ball with his index and middle finger spread across the baseball, wrapping his ring and pinkie fingers around the side. It's like a split, but I think people call it a fosh."

Started throwing it back in '05 but stopped and just now started using it again.

Who else thows this pitch?

I've never heard of anyone throwing one. That's cool though.

Probably only level 1 or 2. He has a level 2 splitter in the game but it actually should be the foshball.

Really? I have great success with the foshball. I usually throw it after coming in with a hard two-seamer.

Tom Gordon of the Phillies throws a foshball and a slurve.

I don't need a fosh I throw a V-SLD, Chg, 2seamer and 4seamer

I would set it at a 2. It can't be 1 because it is something he has thrown in the past but I would say a 2 because its something that he is just starting to throw again as his 3rd pitch.
