On top of the http://www.konami.jp/pawa/major2009/, I just found another site which I translated to English through google. Here it is: http://translate.google.com/translate?p ... ry_state0=

Here's what it says:
1. World Baseball Classic with every real player, uniform and stadium
2. Players faces are more expressive in game with more details.
3. Sucess Mode takes place in the minor leagues and has five different scenarios (teams)
4. Ability to edit players again
5. It says "Experince intution major opperation. RIMOPAWA also features film mode now!"
6. It notes the content in the pictures might change (Hopefully that includes Yankee Stadium)
7. At the beggining it says it features a Pawamaja Mode, perhaps thats the World Classic

Edit: Here's another site: http://img175.imagevenue.com/img.php?im ... _674lo.jpg

-Always go to other peoples' funerals otherwise they won't go to yours.
-I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.
-In theory there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice there is.
-It's tough to make predictions, especially about the future.

I think that number 6 should be changed by the time it comes out, when they were making this, they probably didn't know what Yankee stadium or citi field looked like

Cool, I'm looking forward to Sucess mode. Considering there are 5 minor teams you are on I'm suspecting you start in Rookie level move up to Short Season A(or Low class A) High Single A, Double A, and finally, Triple A to the majors. Do you know if it's going to be a 5 year set or maybe just 3?

Now I have so many questions about it. Like, Is there a set time that you get promoted or lose the game? Or can it happen when your ready? Beacause you don't stay in Rookie and Short Season long if your good. Are their going to be any returning characters? I also wonder who that person was in the picture. Not that I'm real worried about that. It also says different scenarios, so I wonder if there are multiple ways to finish the game. So many questions I need answered...

The World Baseball Classic will be really really fun, especially if they have real players not greats or something.

Any News on Season mode? There is much I want changed but I want:
1)Bullpen
2)More Injuries
3)Smarter Trade AI
4)Actual AAA games and AAA more players have stats so I can know it's time for a call up
4)MAYBE AA not worried about it though
5)Scouting (?) It would be cool to scout players.
6) More rounds in the draft (Maybe like 5-8 if #4 comes true, only 3-5 if it doesn't)

Look on the other site/Alvin is on the Strawberries (or the first link). Here is what I came up with there (Copied and pasted from my post):
I picked up a few things. One, there is a World Baseball Classic mode, with the Japanese (and, I'm guessing, the Puerto Rican and Mexican Stadium it was played in) Stadium. It also looks like you can choose which team to play on in Success Mode, and different ones are unlocked somehow, probably through playing Success Mode. The first one that is avaible at the beggining is the Golden Apples, then the Gigantes. There might also be two different versions as there is a screen in the game that says Success Mode Season 2 and lets you choose to play, load, or quit (I believe, those are the buttons on the other Success Mode Season). It looks much more in depth. The players and stadiums are more detailed, the crowd is full of individual people, not blurs, and you can actually see players in the dug-out. The hitting looks more indepth, but I'm not sure how.
On one screen, it list the modes. There are 8, but I think there is a good chance this does not include practice. Here's what we know of them so far:
1. Single Game
2. Success Mode
3. World Classic
4. My Life

I will find out more. I can try to get pics if anyone can't access it. This site is huge (much better then the game sites in America).
Edit: Like the first to the second, everything is more slick. The graphics are much more advanced. My Life looks much better. Pitchers and Catchers talk. Everything is 3D.
Baseball cards actually do something. It looks like you need a baseball card to edit a player, but I could be wrong. They seem to have a function though.

Second Post:
Haha really? Pitching is more indepth with what looks like a power bar to determine speed. The catcher has more of a role then before.
Edit: Crap! Old Yankee Stadium.
You can definetly choose teams. There are the Golden Apples, Gigantes, the Guava Strawberries, The Mon Mon Monkeys, and the Galaxy Sharks.
They show a picture of the GM, the recepcionist, and someone else. Perhaps this is the owner. On another screen, the same guy is ontop of a region (several different regions). Perhaps this involves scouting. There are small faces (with baseball hats) on the map, maybe players being scouted.

That should clear most of it up, except the scouting. It looks like there might be, but it really is just a guess.

That is really cool. I would be so happy if there is scouting. I now wonder if you have to unlock the other teams in sucess?

I can also see how much bigger the players look and how much better the graphics look.

I might trade 07 for this game. This is totally sweet! This could rival the 2K series by features alone, but that's my opinion.

And outdue it, at least on the WII. MLB 2K stinks for the WII, it's bug ridden, missing every feature, and only had season mode, home run derby and play-off mode. In fact, after the first year, a bug will only let you play 15 the next year and everytime after that, and the play-offs are only 1 game series. The World Classic does include all 16 teams. It's a nice touch, though it matters much less for us then other countries.

I remember that bug, however there is a way to bypass that.

Good to see all 16 teams. This is looking like the best PP game yet!

Last time it didn't improve that much between the two. I mean My Life was nice, but that was it (and Success Mode was much less in-depth and much shorter). This year it really looks like their rehauling the whole game.

It does appear that they are rehauling the game. And sometimes it doesn't work in games, but judging by just pictures it's looking like a success. Wonder how it's selling in Japan.

Sittch and all GS people are back. Terry and Joey too. Almost everyone is back. Every AAA team has a nice stadium, nicer than most MLB teams.
