Hi, so here is the story. During a math quiz, my teacher calls me up and complains to me that one of the pages my notebook fell apart and could not find my name. In my defense, I said that I could not fix it back and she suggested i use scotch tape. Ingenious, why didnt I think of that. Therefore, she gets hella mad at me as she had to search for Chapter 11. Chapter 11 is a chapter from the textbook, dont ask. After talking awhile she asked me to go back and take the quiz. By the way, there was like 40 minutes left and I had 1 page left. When i went up to pick up my notebook, she wrote,"1/2 credit; notebook falling apart and out of order, had to search for name and Ch 11". So I was like WTF 1/2 credit. That is a "F". 1st of all, my notebook was in the order she wanted and I just put page 40 as the 1st page as page 1 was falling apart. 2nd, its not my fault the notebook falls apart. 3rd of all, she is obviously lying as if 1) she had searched for Chapter 11, why didn't she find it. 2)Why did she call me up to tell her where it is if she searched for it. 3) She said she searched for it, but I was the one who showed her where it was. I admit the name part was my fault, but 1/2 credit isnt that too much. Tell me what you think. |

Lawl. Bite your tongue. Best to just study and reorganize your notebook in a neater format. If she has a problem with it, tell her she had a problem with the way you HAD it. Otherwise, 1/2 credit really isn't much now unless it was a test/crucial quiz. If it is one of those, ask her if you can do extra credit. |

Unfortunately, she does not give extra credit. I'm a straight 100 student. This issue is that she is a freaking bi8ch and does not give a crap about us. BTW, she did get fired from a previous school, so I was thinking why she got fired. |

Talk amongst your peers and go to your Principle if you find it a common problem. |

First, if you really think you were cheated, go up the chain of command looking for help. Grade level principal, School Principal, assistant superintendent, even the superintendent if nessisary. Keep talking until someone listens. Second, be mean back. My history teacher refuses to read my handwriting. She can read it, she just refuses to, and has started taking points of for assignments i have finished in full because they are handwritten. I make sure to mess with her head whenever i can. It's actually pretty easy to do and not get n trouble if you do it right. PM for more details if you really want to know, but just be generally rude. She knows you did your notebook right, so you should get full credit. |

As long as the score doesn't bump you to a poor grade then you shouldn't worry about it. |

Stuff like that happens. There is nothing you can do about. The world's full of biased and cruel people that don't care what you think as long as they feel it is correct and suitable for their own need. Most teachers like that don't give a second thought about it and it may rub off wrong on you which makes you angry and you talk back/use attitude against them and now the teacher really has a reason to use against you. Last year I had a nun and she made me write my whole notebook over again just because I lost it for a week and she said I would lose it again.(I am a 6 A's one B+ student) So I had to rewrite my Science notebook and I would have had detention for a couple of weeks if I didn't. And the funny thing is she is my math teacher |

Just dealing with it by ignoring only makes it worse and you angrier. Like i said, you should go up the chain of command until someone listens. |
