Geoff Jenkins was released by the Phills, and Sheffield was released by the Tigers. I don't see him joining a NL team. I think he'll become a DH for an AL team. |

Sheffield will go to an AL team as he likely is going to hit DH or Pitch Hit. He might be a future HOF, but he is getting old and only has experience worth much. I think a play like the O's or Royals would suite him. |

He will definetly play, seeing as he's 1 homer away from 500. He's not that good anymore and he could just become a pinch hitter for the phillies as they just dropped another slugger soon after this happened. I was really suprised, I thought he was at least a good back up. |

Yeah, but he had the biggest mouth that me and my mom (well, mostly my mom) have ever seen in our lives, so it wasn't a surprise that he got released. |

I certainly hope he plays for the Marlins, I am going to some Marlins games and have always wanted to be punched by a right fielder like Sheffield did to a fan at Fenway |

I agree if everyone with him joining an AL team as DH, I wish he would go the rays. I hope the red soxs get put out this year. |
