2k and Konami will not be making MLB Power Pros 2009 in America. Only will be sold in Japan. If you know they are announcing MLB Power Pros 2009 in America, then please give me proof.

Well I did go to a gamestop and it wasn't on the list they had fifa and madden (20)10. They had like 8 games. They better have it, If they don't I'm giving up american baseball games. Lance we are a little edgy but I'm gonna wait till 2010 to be sure.

if you really want a sweet pp try to track down 10k, I believe got the ball rolling for american powerpros. There is a success mode where the announcer speaks english.

I know this is off topic but both next and 09 has backward password or player compbility

Lance since you brought this up, if your so sure call them and confirm since you wrote this.

And lance, why NOT only produce it in Japan? It's only been here for 2 years and over there many many more times.

Yah - I'm not sure if sales in the US support it. The 07 version got pretty big sales numbers, I believe - its a nice friendly middle between Backyard Baseball and a live-ation game like the Bigs...with more depth than either.

But the 08 version came out too quickly, with not much more - rosters that were already out of date, many missing players, and only slight improvements to gameplay and a just-okay My Life mode.

I think the 08 sales stalled and caused them to balk at 09 - which is fine with me- more time to devote to MLBPP08! We can create any players that we need. :)

What would a 2009 version have, exactly, anyway? Updated rosters...and maybe some slight changes, but nothing huge, in all likelihood. If it doesn't come out over here, let's take the opportunity to keep MLBPP08 alive and playable.

This sounds more like a personal gripe and/or cry for attention. The original poster has yet to have anything to support his claims other than the game is not out yet. In fact, I'm pretty $%$^^%$ it is going to come out because I put a fifteen dollar deposit down at the local game shop for it.

Exactly, lol. With his logic, when I checked to see if MLB 2K9 was coming out in September and it showed nothing, it can never come out!
