Post subject: | Bob's Test - A Short Story |
Hi! Since theppman is sharing his book, I would like to share my short story too. Enjoy! _____________________________ Bob had had a fun night playing Wii with his friends. Now it was 10:30, and he climbed into bed to sleep, filled with happy thougts. BOOOP! BOOOP! BOOOP! Bob awoke to the annoying sound of his alarm clock. He yawned and stretched his arms. Suddenly a thought popped into his mind: "The test! I FORGOT TO STUDY FOR MY TEST!!!" He instantly leaped out of bed and scrambled down the stairs. He gobbled up his breakfast like a ravenous monster as he remembered what getting an F on the final exam would mean: grade retention. He pushed that thought out of his mind and pulled open is backpack, reaching in and searching for those notes... "AHHH! I can't find my notes!!" He ran about the house, wreaking havoc as he went, looking for his darned notes. Finally, he found them. But by then, it was time to get on the bus and head for school. Whatever information he crammed into his head, he probably forgot all about it when THE BUS RAN OUT OF GAS. And worse, the bus radio wasn't working! But Bob had his cell phone. He lent it to the bus driver, and they were towed to a gas station and filled up with gas. Bob was a hero! And the best part was, Bob's test was supposed to be taken during first period. It was now the middle of fourth period. Bob missed his test and was allowed to make it up the next day! But he forgot to study again... ____________________________ What do you think? I know, it's so realistic... Anyway, I have more short stories I could put up, and they all have some unexpected twist somewhere in the story. Should I post them? And THANKS FOR READING! ![]() |

Hmm, it all seemed to happen to fast, this than that nothing in-between. I understand it's a short story but it just seemed to happen all at once. To me it felt like one big sentence. I enjoyed reading it, shorter story than I was expecting, very random but that can sometimes be good and make it a fun story to read. |

Yeah, I haven't elaborated very much on it. There's no setting, no dialogue, it's missing so many things. It's more of an outline than an actual story. But it's still fun to read. (I hope ![]() I have more stories to post; most of them are just about as short as this one (some are a bit longer) |

I was actually just thinking of starting to write short stories. However, the only idea I had so far works as a novel. I'm just having trouble with names as I always do. |
