Cowher to the JETS?

I don't think that this is going to happen. I was shocked to here this. Bill Cowher was a great coach, and wouldn't risk his great reputation of greatness with the Steelers by coaching the Jets. Would he?

The Jets aren't a bad team however....

and it is brett's fault.
he needs to cut down on his INTs so much its not funny (esp. not 4 jets fans)
he had the tools, he didn't use them well enough.

well, they really aren't a great team. They should have kept Pennington, if they knew he was this good...

read an artcile in SI about how pennington should be MVP.
it was a pretty good case, i just don't wanna see eli get it.
how about peyton getting it, they started 3-4, ended up winning their next 9!

I think Brett is gonna retire. He won everything possible in football and I thought the jets were gonna make the playoffs till they collapse at the last minute. I think its the same logic as the Brewers. THey were looking good, till the start of September and they fired their manager. THe only difference is that Brewers made the playoffs. What do you think the w/l of teh Lions would be next year.

Cowher will NOT be coaching the Jets next year.

Yes, I was glad to hear it. We should just use this for any other NFL news or anything like that.

Mike Shanahan was fired! Although this came as a surprise to most, this was the right decision. The Broncos became the first team in history to have a three game lead with three games to play and not make the playoffs.
