what you really need is a good compliment of pitches. KN works well, and a good CB or SNK to back it up. CCHG is a good pitch, and DCB is good also.

SCB is a good K pitch, so is CHG. Use SLD or H-SLD to get ahead in the count, or even a 4SFB or 2SFB. To get a K, your trying to fool the batter or try to get him to think it is another pitch. CHG, DCB,SCB generally fools pitcher. SNK and H-SNK would induce ground ball outs. SIFB and CUT is a fastball to get batters jammed up.

Knuckle Ball is hard to tell. It would break left, down and right. If you have good contact, its easy to hit the knuckle ball cause its 55-65 mph. Therefore, Power+Good Contact=Wakefield Pwned.

i tried a high fast ball but its hard to then get a good stamina/control
my guy leeroy jenkins had a 98mph fast ball with a 3 slder and a 7 knucle ball but he had a C stamina and like a e ctrl

If you want to pitch high, your control must like C-A, or it would have hard to place the ball. This would result in either walking the batter, or giving him a easy pitch to swing at.

2SFB, Sliders, shuutos/sinking FBs, and sinkers to jam opposite-hand hitters. I induce huge numbers of ground balls, with few fly balls, but slightly fewer strikeouts. In my opinion, it's a lot easier to let the batters get themselves out than try to strike them out.

Use slow pitches for swinging strikes.

In essence, it does not matter what pitch you use - they all have strengths and weaknesses - it matters how you use the ones you had. But if push came to shove, I'd pick the knuckleball, with slow curve second.

This should be in the Power Pros problem. Anyway, I'd say the knuckleball.

I like the V-SLD and the CCHG, altough abusing the changeup results in giving up many homeruns. SCB and DCB work fine too.

Pitching sidearm, i like to use a slider and a change-up. But a good pitcher only needs two or so pitches. One of my favorite strategies, for a lot of strikeouts, is to pin the corner with fastballs then toss a dcb(toggle the control stick for better results)

True, a human player easily crushes knucklers for home runs.

But a CPU player has a much harder time. They still hit home runs on them sometimes - that's the way in real life, too - but with time you will see almost too many swinging strikes. Just be sure to mix it up with a few other pitches and you can dominate.
