OK Mr. Cashman, let's sign Beckett just to slap the BoSox in the face!

kind of interesting to note that the youngest player on the list is Carl Crawford at age 28... almost all of the players are age 30+, and many are over 33.

Too bad they are never gonna win anything  ! But, the phills have made several good moves so far. We got rid of Taguchi (didn't live up to expectations) and signed Rual Ibanez and Chan Ho Park, in addition to re-signing several key players, including Scott Eyre and Jamie Moyer, who will be much more of a mentor than an actual pitcher. Especially after this year, since it was a 2-year deal.

Nothing great this year
the yankees should focus on re-signing players like Damon and Nady then mabye pick up a pitcher

Hmm, i wonder which pitcher they picked up. CC and AJ for a 7 and 5 year deal respectively. They don't need a pitcher. Joba won't reach FA for another 3/4 years. Chien Ming Wang too. They have Ian Kennedy and Phil Hughes as back up. They don't need to sign a pitcher next year. Damon is getting old and they have Melky or Gardener to replace him. Gardener has speed, but needs to improve getting on base. Nady is good, they would resign him.

true with the pitching but pettite is gettting old so they will need another pitcher anyways also i feel joba should be in the pen and hughs needs more polish. Melky is a great fieldere but cant hit for shit.
