Anyone do this/know what it is and have an opinion on it? I do it, though I'm a bit embarrassed to say it since I'm only almost 14... |

baseball statistics and formulas (e.g. runs created, VORP [Value Over Replacement Player], etc.) it is used to more accurately judge baseball players' seasons and careers, and other uses. it is (to me) the only decently fun use of math. |

I love math, and use it whenver I can. I use VORP, etc. Helps a lot in fantasy leagues. |

i'm trying to make a formula, vorp is in it. so is mlv, BsR, and OBP. did you know that groundball percentage has over an 80% correlation to a pitcher's performance? |
