I play this game pretty much all the time when a regular MLB video game isn't available.

2 - Wild pitch (all runners advance one base)
3 - Triple
4 - Double
5 - Walk
6 - Ground out
7 - Fly out
8 - Single
9 - Strike out
10 - Foul ball (roll again)
11 - Double play (if no runners on, roll again)
12 - Home run!!

The rules are simple and, as you can tell, the game is played with two, six-sided die. I've started playing a "season" with the Red Sox going through the 2008 schedule using the opening day rosters. I'm still in the first series against Oakland, though.

If anyone else plays this, or wants to, lets talk about it!

Mathematically, there should be a lot of flyouts. 7 can be acheived no matter what the first roll.

If 1, 6 (and vise versa)
If 2, 5
If 3, 4

Makes sense, there's lots of flyouts in real baseball.

The way I played, if you got a Double Play with no runners on, it's a regular out. However, in where I found the rules to this, they didn't explain it well...

That sounds like a good idea. I usually just re-roll, though.
