-Manny Ramirez
-Mark Teixeira
-K-Rod
-C.C. Sabathia

Manny better not be a Philly :!:  It would be a dumb idea. He's a great ballplayer, but just not the sharpest tool in the shed. If we need to get rid of Burrell, so be it, but get a prospect, not an aging vet like Manny. He would just become another TO, and philly should know this.

He's looking to play for the yankees anyway.

Good. I've been talking in school, and so many kids think Manny would be a good addition to replace Burrell. He would, normally. Charlie Manuel was also his hitting coach in (i believe) cleveland, so there's that. But if philly (as i said above) thinks Manny would be anything other than TO round 2, they are sorely mistaken.

I don't see the Yankees signing manny, there would be too much conflict with the fans. When he's not motivated, which he wouldn't be with the booing, he doesn't play well. I also don't see him fitting too well in the club house, I think he's a good fit with the Dodgers and I would guess they'll sign him back. I see K-Rod as a Met or Angel, but I'm hoping a met. I see the Yankees definetly paying the most for CC, but CC prefers the NL and will most likely stay with the Brewers, go to the Dodgers or D-Backs (my guess he wants a contending-team), or go to the Yankees. I'd say the likeliness unfourtenetly might be in that order, but the Yankees might be more likely then the D-Backs or Dodgers. The Angels and A's are possible too, but I don't see him going on Seatle as it isn't contending and the Rangers aren't really in the west (near his home).
Pudge is another interesting one. If Jorge has some problem in re-hab during December, then I can gurantee you Pudge will be a Yankee (he said he wants to be). However, if this doesn't happen (and I hope it doens't), then the Yanks won't want to sign two all-star catchers. Molina, while no Pudge, is more then capable of playing back-up, has the best arm in the game right now, and might be the best defensive catcher in the game at this point in his career (Pudge isn't as good as he once was, and Molina threw out the most runners this year, despite having played about 2/3 of the second place catcher).
Texiera will probably be offered more money from the Yankees and would probably fit well in the clubhouse, but he may prefer to stay with the Angels. I'd say he's definetly an Angel or Yankee.
Abreu is another one as well, and I hope the Yankees resign him
Where do you think Giambi will go? The Yanks might consider resigning him if they can't get texiera, but only for a year until their prospects are read (Juan Miranda could make a strong case, I think he has the best slugigng percentage in the Arizona Fall League as well as the best average and 5 most RBIs, but it could have changed). Jorge Posada if he is really hurt that bad and Matsui could play first-base, but I prefer a good fielding first-baseman any day like Texiera. Matsui did play some firstbase in Japan before moving to the outfield.

C.C. Is MOST LIKELY going to the Dodgers.

Resigning Manny is Dodges top prioritiy.

I think the Mets might get K-Rod, since Wagner s likely out for 09, and I still think they will land the big FA beacause they want a playoff so bad.

Renteria I think may be up for grabs as well, since Tigers management is not willing to pay 11 Mil for the failure that was Renteria. He's a quick hand at shortstop, but his time at bat was horrible.

Manny's a perfect fit for the Dodgers. I really hope he doesn't do the greed-based signing thing again like he did with the Sox are just go where the most money is offered. He's too much of a flake to handle that.

CC most likely going to the dodgers? I don't know about that. I'd say there in the top 5, like I said before, I think the biggest contestants are (in no particular order besides the Brewers):
1. Brewers
2. Yankees
3. Dodgers
4. D-Backs
5. Angels
Actually, now that I think about it, this is probably in order. Brewers because he'd love the team and if he decides to go for where he wants to be isntead of money, it is the most likely choice. The chance that he doesn't view things like this is the percent all the others are probably spllitting. Yankees I think are next because they are the top money team, but their not in the nl or in the west. The reason I put the Yankees second is the Dodgers, D-Backs, Angels (and to a certain extent the A's and Giants) are splitting the chances between the west and NL. I think the Dodgers are next because their probably the best West team, have the most money of the NL West teams, and have a great players coaching staff (by far the best coaching staff in the game today, when you have Torree, Mattingly, Bob Schaefer, Mariano Duncan Rick Honeycutt and Larry Bowa, your unbeatable. I mean all of these guys with the possible exception (I don't know him) of Rick Honeycutt could be successful managers. The D-Backs are 4th on my list by a tiny bit. They are a pretty financilly set club and take a lot of big (foolish and lucky in my opinion) gambles, but I don't know if they'd be able to sign CC. Plus, that's still pretty far from California, just closer then Milwaukee or Cleavland. Finally, the Angels. They aren't in the NL and I don't think CC would do too well in their clubhouse. However, they are in the west, have a lot of money, and are a successful franchise. Getting him might be too expensive but it would help make the team a little younger and keep the Angels from weakening do to aging players. I just don't seeing them having such a big contract player though as their contracts are the fourth highest and would probably be the second (and first possibly if the Yankees don't sign CC, Texiera, Pudge, Abreu or Giambi).

I think CC would resign with Brewers or Yankees. This would depend on his choice. Money or NL. If he wanted the money, he would go to yankees. If he would want to play in the NL and hit, he would go to the Brewers or even Dodgers (unlikely if they were to bid for Manny).

Also, to add on, as a yankee fan. I hope they get CC Texeria erm AJ. I think they would get Pudge back and Abreu. Not Jiambi, he is getting old, though he had a wonderful season. Hmm, next years rotation. CC Wang AJ Joba Petitte? Mussina?
