my math teacher is weird...
someone asked her what her favorite sport was, and she said
"eating pear. i very good."
Someone also was talking about ping-pong with her (and challenging her):
"I'm a ping-pong champion."
Teacher:"Oh, what level?"
"Uhh, level 17."
"Oh. You good! I'm entry level."

Anyone else had weird teachers worthy of mentioning here?

where do i begin?
Well last year, i had a science teacher. 65. Oldest, and most hated teacher in school. Gave me my first detention (i'll save you the trouble "dork") and was boring as all hell.
My math teacher that same year was nuts as well, but i liked him. He would always make weird jokes and threaten to strangle people who didn't do their hw  . (not for real, of course)
This year, i have this evil geography teahcer i can't stand. I walked in the first day and though (oh, she's in her like, 40's) She's actually like, late 20" :!: Luckily i nver said anything to her, but cracked up laughing when she told us in class. She makes us do the stupidest assignments and takes poitns off for no good reason. Like on my news article summary, i lost points for puttin Toronto, not Toronto, Ontario. what do i know about toronto, other than the jays play there? cmon!

my math teacher is almost incomprehensible.
last year, my algebra teacher was basically blind, so i could do almost whatever i wanted.
my english teacher was OCD about everything, including desks being on the corner of the tile.
My third grade teacher was horrible, she even said talk to the hand to one of her students before.

I had a math teacher in high school for my 9th and 11th grade years. He was always tell this corny jokes related to math:

What kind of clothing does a mermaid wear?

I remember one time I had an RPN type calculator (11th grade), and he went to use it to show me how to do a problem and wasn't able to use it since he didn't know how to use an RPN. I thought is was rather funny seeing him get frustrated.

I am WAY out of school but I do work with some memorable people like: I saw one lady talking to herself so I asked her who she was talking to. Simple enough question but she gave me an answer I am still dumbfounded about.

"Tracy," I said, "who are you talking too?" I didn't see anyone around and she seemed to be having a vigorating conversation.
"No one," she said, "just my finger," holding one up on her left hand.
"Oh," I said as I walked away leaving her with her finger.

That was one of those times when you are better off not asking. So moral my young kiddies is this: When you see someone talking to themselfs DON'T ASK! Just turn and walk away or else you may get an answer you were better off not knowing.

heh, I heard one of my schools teacher threw a chair at a kid 10 years ago.
and if your desk was messy he'd dump everything on it to the floor.

the math teacher i metnioned earlier had ADD, so he (somehow) found a way yo realte it to math. (Prepare for a novel)
Back in like the 1800's, i think he said, this guy, Marlon Fischer (something like that, he nevered spelled it.), was batting 450. with runners on. Reason: he couldn't hit a curveball. Once the league realized, he stunck. Our teacher said he also couldn't hit a curveball, but wasn't a pro ball player. He said "Imagine if i couldn't multiply?" Forget where he went from there, but it was kinda intresting.

Had a band teacher, two years after I left his class, was busted for selling/distributing "pot" to his class. And before you ask, he never asked me.

One day at work when we were getting off we had a deluge of a rainstorm. All but a few people were hunkring down just inside the door waiting for the rain to let up....all except one person.

The Idiot stripped all of his clothes off except for his boxer shorts, in front of everyone, and walked out to his car in the rain! To top it off the Idiot also got in a car accident on the way home, another employee drove by the scene, and was standing out in the rain in his boxer shorts talking with a cop!

The people I work with...so of them you just have to wonder!

Always, Always, valuble stuff to have around. Anyway, my math teacher actually has an i-pod and listens to music. I see him listning to it walking out of school, so he isn't a total wierdo.
