Post subject: | Can anyone figure this out? |
You have the numbers 7 7 7 7 and your supposed to put signs between them to equal 100. Apparently it's possible with 2 signs. I've been trying for hours and haven't gotten any closer. |

Here's another one but I already know both ways to do it. 5+5+5=550, you can draw one straight line in any direction to make the statement true. |

I got the closest so far... 7! (seven factorial = 7x6x5x4x3x2x1) +7, then divide by (seven times seven) equals 103 ![]() Oh and by the way in response to your recent post... 5x5x5 DOES NOT EQUAL 550 ![]() |

Like I said try exponents. Hmm let me see. 7x7=49+7x7= hmm nope (7+7)7x7= nope (7x7)7x7= ummm nope Actually, wait. I think it's a trick question: 7 isn't a multiple of 100 so how can you reach it with only 7s? |
