I know this thread is probably more for you high school/college students, but I am a controls engineer for Cummins, Inc. I have been for 12 years. I lead a group of 5 people that produces the algorithms and software that goes into Electronic Control Modules for Alternate Fueled engines (natural gas and propane). The engines are primarily used in transit buses, school buses, fork trucks (propane), airport shuttles, small semi trucks, and UPS style vehicles. |

I have the greatest deadend job making AC units for businesses. Working on an assembly line running 12mil dollar machines that break down about every other week, working for bosses that haven't seem to figure out that we can't make the units if they never order us enough parts which happens on a daily basis. Stay school young ones....don't end up with a crappy job like mine! |
