Sad that my favorite players career hasn't turned out how it should've because of lots of injuries...that would be Mark Prior. Then my favorite player that actually plays is Edwin Encarnacion. |

I am very bad at picking favorites, especially on the Yanks, so I'll list my other favorites. 1. As a Vegetarrian, how can you not love Prince Fielder. Prince is the only recorded Vegetarrian in Major League history and it shows you can play sports without meat. With 45-50 homeruns last year and an key part of the Brewer's success, Fielder is my favorite non-Yankee. He's a great guy, an open free-thinker, and a wonderful player. Maybe the Yanks might get him haha. 2. Carlos Pena, you don't get much nicer then this guy. He was one of the main reasons that I began to believe the Rays might be able to compete this year (in the offseason) and a cornerstone in their success and confidence. Plus, he's the son of the Yankees fantastic first base coach Tony Pena 3. Matt Holiday is the biggest reason the Rockies made it to the World Series last player. Basically the teams unofficial captain, Holliday leads the team by example, a clutch and rally hitter. He is incredibly nice and the team relies on him. He carried them on his back and got everyone started, and should have been MVP. He not only had better stats but he also was the most valuable of any team for his fielding, his leadership, and the fact that his team made it by just a game and wouldn't have come anywhere closer without him. He was worth at least 10+ games, probably much more. I'll just list the others 4. Ichiro 5. David Price (early, I know, but I've been watching this guy since last year) I like the nice players of the small franchises the best. Despite being a Yankee fan, I always like the underdogs. You already know why K-Rod is one of my all-time least favorite players (least favorite ten most likely, definetly twenty. Bonds is at the top of that list). |

Gah! What's so great about K-Rod haha. I generally don't like players who are so good, it matters what type of person they are. That's why I don't like K-Rod. I love guys who gave from poverty and hard times and had to earn everything like Joba or Mariano. It's the same thing with A-Rod, Cano, Melky (melkys another favorite), and abreu. Crawford was up on my list too, and I've always liked Kazmir. I just didn't like it when he said in the off season that he was sick of playing for the doormat of the MLB. He signed a long contract after they started playing. My favorite of all time is Lou Gherig, and my Yankee favorites that are active are: Jorge Posada, Mariano, Joba, Cabrera, Jeter, Abreu, Damon, Mussina. See what I mean with problems with favorites? |

Actually, I just remembered (seriously) that K-Rod is out of my top 5. I just remembered Josh Hamilton. |
