To record stuff on the internet? I want to make a video using some of other videos. It'll save a lot of time and I will give them credit for those video clips I use. You'll see what I use it for if I can get the video up.

you could always record it on your phone, send it to your e-mail (if you have text) and post it on youtube

Are you talking about saving videos off of places like YouTube and then editing portions of them into another video?

If so, that's two distinct "problems." First you need an app that will capture video off of a webpage. There are a number of them out there if you Google. The free Real Player supports that functionality if you have it installed. Second, after you have your videos downloaded you need editing software to put together your video. If you've got XP or Vista you've got "Windows Movie Maker" built-in, which is fairly limited in features but might do what you need. Otherwise you're looking at commercial software, which ranges greatly in price and feature sets.

Yeah that's what I mean. And I do have windows movie maker so I just have to download one of those other programs.
