Post subject:  Ten Years of MLB Power Pros in America
Ten years.

Holy crap.

Ten years ago, the original MLB Power Pros was released in North America. With a quirky art style, an RPG-like mode where you create a baseball player and guide him through college baseball, and a season mode with in-depth stat tracking for its time, this was somewhat-uncharted territory for baseball video games of the time.

It wasn't until the year after that this forum was created, which we'll celebrate that anniversary eventually, but today will be a day to celebrate a cult classic video game that, in some respects, has stood the test of time.

Actually there was the 2006 MLB Power Pros released in Japan. But other than that, pretty much.

Dish said it as if MLB Power Pros 2007 was the first MLB Power Pros ever. Which it wasnt, the 2006 version was

The first 2006 MLB Power Pros actually was better than the 2007 sucess mode though. But 2007 is still great and better than 2008. I think that the Japanese ones are better overall.

Yay, happy Powerversary. I'm glad that the MLBPPWorld World Series will be happening soon to celebrate it hopefully.
