So, what are your resolutions for the New Year? Here are mine: SCHOOL — Make it through the final semester of HS — And the first semester of college SPORTS — Score at least once in a basketball game — Pitch at least once in baseball — Get on base at least once in baseball PROJECTS — Complete at least one writing project (Hide, Don’t Seek/Nick’s Village/The Uncool Kid/etc.) — Finish/release at least three mixtapes/musical projects — Keep RPG #10 going all year PERSONAL — Grow my Ethika collection to at least 10 pairs (currently at 5) — Lose weight (Current 179.2, goals: 170, 160, 150) — Read at least 50 books in 2016 (signed up for a Goodreads account to track my progress) As a reminder, I was 3 for 5 in 2014 and 4 for 7 in 2015, so I guess I can reasonably expect to complete 5 or 6 of these 11 resolutions ![]() |

As copied from the other thread: - lose weight. Press myself into daily workouts - varied. Workout CDs, trips to the gym, jogging, sports. Lifting, Wii workouts, everything. ---And keep rehabbing my ankle from devastating injury. Maybe get back into tennis! - practice music a LOT more - practice, write, record, arrange. Vocal practices. Keep hitting bass, and improving. - learn - keep reading books, but do Khan academy, code academy, look into finishing that degree (unnecessary, but eh) - pay off credit cards, and then make extra principal payments on mortgages. End 2016 debt free. - keep improving my stock market knowledge, and make good investments, minimize losses. Push that retirement to new heights. Vacations: FEB: 3 days in TN (valentine's day) - 1 or 2 days PTO MAR/APR: 4-5 days in Georgia (winery tours, etc romance) 2 or 3 days PTO MAY/JUNE: Cruise to Alaska/Canada? 5 or 6 days PTO SEP/OCT: week in New England, to spend a day or so with each couple and their kids/family/house. wow. 5 or 6 days PTO |

Nice vacations AOW, making me jealous. I'll be heading to Rome for a week in March and I might go through Indiana, Ohio, Detroit in June to see family and maybe a ballgame or two. |

Anyway here are my resolutions from the review thread Anyway, new resolutions: 1.) win a Youth film festival in my area and collect the 500 dollar prize. Should be starting production on the film I plan to submit ASAP. 2.) Read more. I read a lot more last year than I did this year. 3.) uhh, do well in school. Cause it's junior year. 4.) be more confident. I'm only confident in certain situations. I plan to be more confident in a larger number of situations by the end of 2016. 5.) Don't be a Dick. Not that I am a dick now, but I'm around a lot of dickish people. So I don't wanna stoop to their level. 6.) enjoy 2016 as much as I possibly can. After 2016, things are going to start changing at an even more rapid pace than they are now. Which is like, crazy *(censored)* rapid. A lot of things I've taken for granted my whole life will no longer be available to me in a year or two and, as scary as that is, I wanna stop wallowing in self pity and a yearning for the past and instead just enjoy the rest of the ride. |
