Has anybody looked at this yet? I think it's really cool. Shows how much music you've listened too and what you've listened to the most over the past year. Click here For me, I had listened to 50000* minutes of music. My top five artists were Saint Motel, Portugal. The Man, Arctic Monkeys, The Black Keys, and Cold War Kids. And my top five genres were Indie Rock, Indie Pop, Garage Rock, Indietronica, and Neo-Psychedelic. |

that is cool my top five artists are: Danger Doom, Toro y Moi, Drake, BadBadNotGood, and Tame Impala. top five genres: Hip Hop, Nu Gaze, Alternative Hip Hop, Indietronica, and Underground Hip Hop. I listened to 8,594 minutes of music, although that only counts what I listened to on Spotify, which I didn't even have downloaded until late June and even then only used about half the time |

Looking back, this is rather depressing. Music can take you so far back. Just listening to these songs again remind me of better, more relaxing days. Top Artists: Arctic Monkeys (183), The Black Keys (91), The Strokes (90), Manchester Orchestra (70), The Raconteurs (57) Top Albums: Consolers of the Lonely - The Racounteurs (50), Little Joy - Little Joy (47), Favourite Worst Nightmare - Arcitc Monkeys (31), Angles - The Strokes (27), Suck It and See - Arctic Monkeys (26) Top Tracks: "With Strangers" - Little Joy (16), "Under Cover of Darkness" - The Strokes (14), "If You've Found This It's Probably Too Late" - Arctic Monkeys (11), "Out On The Town" - fun. (9), "The City" - The 1975 (9) Total minutes: 4,527 Total artists: 159 Total tracks: 700 What I find most interesting about this is that of The Racounteurs' two albums, I played one 50 times and one 7 times. Also, if Little Joy had multiple albums, it looks like they would have easily cracked my top five. |

Does anyone feel that they have one artist/song/album that really Defined their year, but wasn't represented all that much on their Spotify year in music for some reason or another? I personally was bumping all three of Dr. Dre's albums throughout much of the Fall, but The Chronic and Compton aren't on Spotify. Also listened to a helluva lot of Father John Misty this year. Especially his latest album. |
