Target Francoeur and McCarthy. Maybe Sleeth too.

Train everyone...

Bring him up in September (Sept. call-ups)!

5 pitchers and 5 hitters, but everyone gets skill boosts based on the stats of the manager and hitting/pitching coaches.

Unfortunately, I don't believe this game has September call-ups.

I'm going to be taking a minor break now. I have done everything to lead up to me playing the Playstation, but as you know I don't return until July 5th. I also have to create a player for ZeroGibson so I think I'll next update this July 6th in the afternoon.

Jerry: Hey Alexander, I found a problem that we face with the new stadium.

Alexander: What is it?

Jerry: Well, since you said that you want the stadium to open up this year, we're going to need a whole new staff for the stadium. I think it's too much of a nusience for our staff at the Trop to transfer from there to Coca-Cola.

Alexander: I never thought of that. What could we do about it?

Jerry: We would have to transfer to Coca-Cola Park full time. Some of the staff would have to be fired because of how tiny the stadium is.

Alexander: I got another idea. We'll give them a document. We'll set them up for a job at another place until next season when we expand.

Jerry: That would be a good idea. But what about season ticket holders?

Alexander: Just transfer them to the new stadium. Shoot out an e-mail now to all the season ticket holders. I don't think the tickets were mailed out yet. Now would be a good time to send that e-mail. Have our ticket designers start them up now.

*ring ring ring*

Alexander: Will you excuse me Jerry?

Jerry: Yeah Alexander. (high five) I'll update you on the tickets and staff later.

Alexander: See ya 'round man. *grabs phone* Hello?

Mayor: Hello Mr. Carson it's the mayor.

Alexander: Heyo Mr. Mayor what can I do for you?

Mayor: Well I have a bit of bad news. Coca-Cola is choosing to discontinue you for their stadium name. They will still supply you with Coca-Cola, but they figured you won't bring in enough money to satisfy their greedy needs.

Alexander: Well that's not the best news I have received today.

Mayor: Well there is a bright spot. This new soda company, Sun Drop, is interested in becoming your sponsor.

Alexander: That sounds awesome!

Mayor: Glad you're on board. I'll call them to let them know. Hopefully they're on board to stay.

Alexander: Thanks Mayor. I'll see you around. *click* Sun Drop Stadium. That's kinda catchy.

Devil Rays Looking To Make a Change: Sign and Trade
March 11th, 2005

Yesterday, the Devil Rays completed one of the most memorable days of transactions in baseball history. The Devil Rays looked to get some pitching as a top priority after signing Heido Takahashi to provide some offensive power. The first trade had the Devil Rays sending first baseman Aubrey Huff going to Toronto in exchange for Roy Halladay, a blockbuster trade. This wasn't the only one that was committed today. We now move over to Kansas City. After several failed attempts to reach an agreement, the Royals got on a trade that would send Baldelli and Brazelton for Zack Grenkie. Baldelli was part of the Big 3 outfield that consisted of Carl Crawford, himself, and Heido Takahashi, but it looks like the team is taking another approach. Finally, the Devil Rays, instead of signing big sluggers such as Carlos Delgado or Maglio Ordonez, signed former Giants closer Rob Nen to a 4 year 8.1 Million dollar contract. He will be taking over the closer position.

Spring Over: Hopes High
March 31st, 2005
Yesterday was the final day of spring training for the Devil Rays and this was a spring training that put them on the map. Newly obtained Heido Takahashi had a monster spring, having a .405 Batting Average with 5 homers and 31 RBI's. Zack Grenkie and Roy Halladay didn't give up any runs the entire spring and Rob Nen recorded 5 saves. The team is looking to have a great start to the regular season.

Are you saying it's wrong to talk to a bag of Skittles? Because if so, I'm going to need to rethink a lot of things. :P
