My friend showed me the Vitamin String Quartet, they're a group of strings who cover popular rock songs:
Dragonforce - Through the Fire and Flames
Green Day - Boulevard of Broken Dreams
Linkin Park - New Divide
Three Days Grace - Animal I have become

Replacing the electric guitars with violins and violas makes for pretty unique music!

WOW! That's really good!

A band that I really enjoy is Daft Punk, and actually they have held my interest longer then any other band that I've ever liked. Their music is different then most Electronica, and I really find them excellent.

Another band that I am starting to take a liking to is Motion City Soundtrack. They are also good.

Oh, and also, The Strokes, they're good too. :D

Not a Daft Punk fan, but Motion City Soundtrack is pretty good.
And The Strokes are the definition of post-punk revival/garage rock revival/alt. rock awesomeness.

I agree with everything sjax says here except for the fact that I am a Daft Punk fan.

Anyways, I found this song from a trailer of The Social Network (the instrumental one, so, basically, not the Radiohead cover or the Kanye West one). It's truly great. The singer is a bit eccentric, but, then again, aren't most singers? :P

The song is called Go Do and the artist's name is Jonsi.

Enjoy!

Oh. My. God.

They played Daft Punk's "One More Time" at the Red Sox game! :danceparty: I was so happy. :DD

I know! I heard it! I was also equally happy, and quite shocked actually.
Regardless, it was awesome.

Don't judge by the name. Interesting story behind it actually.

The song's just got a really good sound to it, I love it. The group's actually one of the side projects of Josh Homme, best known as the frontman of Queens of the Stone Age (though he isn't the head of EODM).

Just Breathe is a great song, interesting that it has no drums...

Okay, this song doesn't really seem like me, but I love it regardless:
