I sent the invites to LM and Alloutwar, when they accept I will give them to the 30th and then I will delete the players from inactive teams. Hopefully they go on waivers, if not then at least you know they will become FA on the 30th.

If there are any free spots, I would join.

I joined up and completed revamped the lineup. Holy crap, what was this person thinking? Alcides Escobar? Brandon Wood?

Guys like JD Drew, Joey Votto, Cristian Guzman available? Wow.

Now on to pitching. Thanks for the invite BobbyL - pretty sure you guys will regret it when the JackRabbits climb in the standings tho!

And forget about may 30, I will not change the roster until all new guys have joined. I want them to have time to check out their new teams and make some moves first. I will let you know when I will release the players.

Can I ask how the Waiver precedence works?

When I took on this team it was 2 of 12. Now I'm 12 of 12. Is that because I made one waiver claim?

In my Yahoo leagues, typically my waiver slot doesn't change all year, so I'm slightly confused.

The waivers work like this. Everyone gets a number. If you make a claim you go to the highest number. Whoever has the lowest number gets the player. So this way, everyone gets a fair chance. The players will go onto waivers and we will all get to make multiple waiver CLAIMS, but nobody will get every player they claimed. Here is an example. Let's say Longoria, Braun, McCann, Pujols, Lincecum and Utley are all placed on waivers. Let's say me, you, and sjax all make claims on every player. We will order our preference so that the player we want most is our first to get claimed. Let's just say everyone has the same order and that order is the one I just posted.

I have 1, Alloutwar has 2, sjax has 3. I claim Longoria, then I become 3 and sjax becomes 2 and Alloutwar becomes 1. Then Alloutwar gets Braun, sjax ges McCann, I get Pujols, Alloutwar gets Lincecum and sjax gets Utley. That is hypothetical and everyone will probably not have the same order.

Get it?

There is a chance that the players will just go into free agency. If that happens then I will lock the players and you will all post your preferences for players and I will give you numbers based on win loss records and we will make our own waivers.

If they go onto waivers the right way then if you are active then you get to scoop them up. If you are inactive, too bad, you should be active.

Wait, so I get Utley and you get Pujols? and he gets Lincecum? Really?

But yeah, it's sort of like "You got your guy, now go to the back of the line"

Okay - so I had waiver priority of 2. I made one claim (Joey Votto), got him, and now my priority is 12.

So when someone else makes the next waiver claim, everyone else will move up a spot? And I'll be 11?

I think that's what happened in my other league too - I started out at 5 or 6, made one claim, and now Im at 12.

"Boston Red Sox" and "Sweet and Mauer Pork" are now destroyed, all of their players are now on waivers and will come off of waivers on Saturday. Please set your claims and your preference of order. If you need help let me know. The two teams will not be deleted since I can't delete them now. It will be an automatic win 12-0 every week for whoever plays them, but it will even out since everyone plays those teams. If anyone has any suggestions let me know, I appreciate your cooperation.
