I forgot to add breaking ball costs to the original list, so they've been edited in now. Dish, you can change your upgrade choices if you wish.

Tdud, I'll get that list put together and posted ASAP :)

Edit: Here's the list

I'll keep my original upgrades. The breaking balls are enticing, but I'll probably wait a level.

I like the way you've set this up to be s long running RPG, Agent.
by the time these guys are 18 they could be decent major leaguers.

The coaches had noticed the hard work of several of the players, and had given each of them coupons for two hours worth of lessons with a private instructor.

Sixth-grader Lake Lagunov opted for two pitching lessons, and by the end of the week he was throwing a couple ticks harder than he had before. He had also slightly improved his control. However, he still lacked an offspeed pitch, which made the coaches unsure of what role to put him in.

Fellow sixth-grader Ug Li chose to work on both pitching and hitting, and through a series of drills and repetition, he greatly improved his ability to make contact. He also noticed a slight increase in his pitching control. Ug also lacked an offspeed pitch, but as a solid defender and decent hitter, could probably be tossed in the outfield until he was ready (or moved permanently, as the team was struggling to find depth at some positions).

Johnny Boyega focused entirely on hitting, and by the end of the week was hitting the ball a) more often and b) harder than before. Johnny celebrated by eating a cheeseburger, because cheeseburgers are delicious.

Xander Woods worked on his athleticism, and was able to run faster and cover more ground after his lessons. He also started doing push-ups every night, and on Saturday morning, he woke up and felt muscles starting to grow in his arms. When he went outside later to swing the bat around and hit off a tee, he could definitely feel more power in his swing.

Cody Tibbits wanted to cover up some holes in his game, and spent a lot of his lessons working on keeping balls in front of him and making sure he didn’t allow as many wild pitches or passed balls behind the plate. He also worked on hitting the ball harder.

After a lengthy debate on how many lessons he was allowed and how he should spend them, Harold Henderson decided to work on his offensive game, and improved his contact and power, as well as a slight increase in his foot speed.

Anthony Mangum spent all of his allotted time with a pitching instructor, trying to learn a slow curveball that he thought would help him keep hitters off balance. The coaches were very impressed with his progress at the end of the week, although his stamina was still rather low for a self-titled starting pitcher.

Seventh-grader Harry Hustle spent all of his time working on footwork and running, and felt a huge increase in his speed and stamina by the end of the week.

Eighth-grader Charlie Pickett, one of the hardest-working players in the entire program, worked on his pitching, and improved all aspects of his pitching. His fastball now topped out at a team-high 62 miles per hour, and his control and stamina were also tops among the thirty-two Walker Grove Raiders.

Eighth-grader Joey King also worked with the instructors to improve his ability to put the bat on the ball, and somehow this focus on bat control also improved his pitching control.

—————————————————————————————————————————————

After another couple weeks of practice, the coaches came together to finalize the rosters, and Coach Merritt did the honors of posting them outside his office one Monday morning. The coaches had evaluated each player on their skills, and had included the evaluations on the rosters…

At the next practice, Coach Merritt approached Ug Li, and asked him about possibly converting to outfield. “I can’t promise you anything, but based on the current roster, I think you would be better off switching positions due to our lack of outfield depth. We have a lot of pitchers, and I can’t promise you any playing time on the mound, but if you prefer to continue as a pitcher, I respect that decision. It’s your decision.”

Do you want to switch to outfield? (Tdud123)

A. Yes (permanent switch)
B. Yes (second position)
C. No (but infield would be okay)
D. No (absolutely not)
E. Ask a random teammate for advice

How so? That's right around where the other sixth-graders are, and he's the starting catcher for the red team...
