Smoking is very common at the high school here, too.

And so is the evil monster marihauna

Marijuana is more common than smoking cigarets in these here parts.

Marijuana is far less damaging to health than alcohol or tobacco...

That doesn't mean it isn't still bad

It's still damaging, though. I don't think smoking and drinking are as big problems in my school as others, but I have walked in on people smoking in the bathroom before. My only thought was "You are all *(censored)* stupid."

75% of my high school drink. No smoking or chewing.

I only know of 1 person at my high(get it? ) school that does marijuana.

I don't think that marijuana is as big a deal as people make it out to be, but yeah, it's bad.

That's the reason they do it.

Since it's touted (this being both alcohol and drugs) as some horrible thing that should never be touched teenagers, what with their natural teenaged rebellious attitude, do it. They do it to "go against the man" if you will.

Alcoholism isn't even a problem over in Italy, for example. And their drinking age is 16.
