Wow, 8-18 hurts. What happened to McCann? Just going through a slump, hopefully?

Looks like your pitching is still ok, but your offense is awful.

That's what I'm trying to improve upon, looking into some prospects, I'll probably make a trade before the deadline.

Gimme Uggla and Wakefield.

I realize I am late to the party...I'll just take a seat back here, by the men's room.

Brandon Hicks points out that he should at least be splitting time at SS, or playing 3B.

Not gonna split ime with him, I'm gonna give him third base all to himself, because Joe Mather sucks.

I'm still looking for a third baseman, though.

AL All-Stars - 4
NL All-Stars - 3

WP: Erik Bedard
LP: Josh Johnson
SV: Joakim Soria

The scoring began early, in the top of the first, with Crawford on third, Victor Martinez hits a sacrifice fly to score a run. They score another run in the top of the fourth, with runners on second and third, on a fielder's choice. But the NL got both of those runs back in the bottom of the fifth, after a Chase Utley base hit, Ryan Zimmerman hit a 400-foot bomb to make it 2-2. But, the AL team will retake the lead with a solo blast from Shin-Soo Choo in the top of the sixth. Then, they'll score another run on an RBI ground out from Ellsbury to make it 4-2. Then, in the bottom of the eighth, Neil Walker comes in to pinch hit and blasts a solo homer. That's all that will happen in the all star game, as the AL seals home field advantage for the World Series.

AL All-Stars:
Jake Peavy: 2 IP, 0 H, 0 ER
Kevin Youkilis: 3-3, 3B, 2 2B

NL All-Stars:
Stephen Strasburg: 3 IP, 4 H, ER
Ryan Zimmerman: 1-2, HR, 2 RBI
