Marlins fire their manager, D'Backs fire their manager... I have no idea what the Cubs are waiting for or why they insist on holding on to Lou, especially with a World Series winning manager in Bob Brenly up in the TV booth every day.

Dear Mr. Ricketts...

FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD IN THIS UNIVERSE, FIRE LOU PINIELLA, AND GIVE HENDRY ALL THE MONEY HE NEEDS TO GO OUT AND MAKE SOME FREAKING CHANGES TO THIS HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE TEAM! I MEAN, SERIOUSLY, 10-0 TO THE REDS?! (at the moment I am typing this) IF THAT DOESN'T TELL YOU THAT THIS TEAM NEEDS TO CHANGE, I DON'T KNOW WHAT WILL! THIS TEAM IS FALLING APART, AND MILLIONS OF DOLLARS ARE BEING THROWN AWAY EVERY DAY THAT TEAM GOES OUT THERE AND TAKES THE FIELD!

ChiCubsFan, you REALLY can't blame Lou when all he's got to work with is the awful team that HENDRY created. Hendry's the problem. I have no idea what the Ricketts see in him.

P.S. You said to give Hendry all the money he needs... he would use it to give multimillion dollar, multi-year, no-trade-clause contracts to the worst players he can find, just like always.

I don't understand this move for the Yankees. Sabathia is an ace, Burnett and Vasquez are both good, Pettitte is doing great this year and Hughes has finally stepped out as an ace going forward. I wonder who they will bump from the rotation. This pretty much guarantees that Cervelli will be the catcher of the future once Posada is done.
