I'm either going to be a golfer or football player.
If not sports, then I'm going to be designing apartments in Tokyo (They're 3 times smaller than an american apartment, on average)

My dad was runner of the year two tears in a row in high school. He still has records at his high school, and had set records at UVA. Unfortunately, I can only run a mile in just over 7 minutes.

That isn't terrible, my first year, I ran that, second year i was better, this is my third year.

i know, but still not good enough for me to try out for my school team. Remember, I'm in 8th grade.

that's pretty good for 8th grade, but, with a lot of training you could be an ace.

I opted out of PE this year, though. I was going to do Jazz band, and i couldn't take all the stupid rules for some of the sports, like lacrosse.

lol yeah LAX is pretty stupid, preffered baseball and tennis.

our school's so cheap, though, that our "track" is the freaking parking lot/bus loop

yeah same here, we have to go to the next town over for our home meets.

I thought i was good. Then i heard that the kids that are on the school teams run a mile over a minute faster than me.

yeah, if you think you are good, you will improve, there is a fine line though between confidence and arrogance.
