Youk acted like a baby, and specially when Porcello reversed Youk.

YOUK IS BIGGER THEN PORCELLO! How in the world did the defenseless pitcher, overturn a guy of that size?

Because Youk is a wussy charger and even a worse fighter.

It's the effects of not having won a world series for so long.

I wouldn't say Youk acted like a baby, he just has a short temper. Do you see how angry he gets after he strikes out?

Red Sox get Alex Gonzalez for someone, he was our SS in 2006
He is a major defense upgrade over Green and offense is questionable but he's injured alot lately, he had a good 2007 and he didn't even play the whole year and he had like 16 homeruns I think

the pirated played a nailbiter in Chicago today, for the pirates 17-2 game is a nailbiter

I wish Piniella would get fired and the Cubs made Bob Brenly their manager. That would be so awesome.

Here was the article about this on sikids.com:

A round of applause for SIKIDS.com Dweeb of the Week Kevin Youkilis.

He started a bench-clearing sorta-brawl last night but somehow got hip-tossed for his troubles by a kid who’s not even old enough to hang out at nightclubs.

I can understand why Youk bum-rushed the mound. He’d already been plunked eight times in 2009 prior to last night’s beanball. And one of those HBP’s occurred the night before, at the hands of a different Tigers pitcher. So his reaction... I get it… kind of (where was all this aggression when Joba Chamberlain was firing fastballs at Youk’s Chia-beard?).

But Kevin Youkilis is 6’ 1”, 220 pounds.

20-year-old rookie Rick Porcello, the guy who prompted the mini-melee by treating the numbers on Youk’s jersey like a dartboard, is listed at 6’ 5”, 200 pounds.

If you’re built like a lumberjack… and you decide to rush a pitcher built like a streetlamp… there are certain things you just don’t do. (I mean, if the pitcher’s built like a streetlamp, you probably shouldn’t be rushing him at all. It reeks of schoolyard-bully behavior, no? But if you’re gonna do it anyway…):

1. You don’t keep charging the kid after he sticks up both his hands, backpedals, and makes the “What!I’m sorry!Pleaseleavemealone!” face.

2. You don’t throw your batting helmet at the pitcher. Of all the things you can do during a brawl (and I won’t mention them… this a PG site), you throw a helmet??? Seriously, that was lame. And it could’ve done serious damage if it had connected.

3. You don’t run up on the guy like you’re about to give him the Tie Domi treatment (Google “Tie Domi” if you don’t know what I mean), catch him, and then hug him like he’s a friend you haven’t seen since fourth grade shop class.

4. And last but not least, you don’t rush a guy 1/3 your size, bear-hug him, and then somehow let the smaller guy use your own weight against you and slam you on your bottom.

Youkilis got pwned, plain-and-simple. And even if I understand why he did what he did, it doesn’t mean he had any business doing it (after Miguel Cabrera left the game earlier with a sore wrist, which came courtesy of a Boston beaning, everyone in Fenway Park knew Detroit would retaliate).
Sooo…. combine rushing-the-mound-when-you-shouldn’t with poor “rushing-the-mound” etiquette, add a small rush-the-mound beatdown, and what do you get? Kevin Youkilis, our Dweeb of the Week.

PS - Let this be a lesson to all of you; charging the pitcher’s mound doesn’t pay! Just take your base like a man. You don’t wanna end up getting Youk’d, do you?

You just HATE no-hitters don't you? And why do you have a Marlins logo as your avatar when you're a Reds fan?
