In today's game, week 10, the last week, we beat the 0-9 Darwin Rush 21-7. I ran the ball 33 times for 159 yards and 2TDs, I caught 2 passes for 42 yards as well. On defense I got 3 takcles including 1 for a loss.

After the game,

Coach: Playoffs! Woot!

Jacory: It feels great coach, let's take state in my Senior year!

Coach: Great game by the way Jacory!

Jacory: Thanks coach!

Coach: No practice on Monday I want you guys to celebrate.

Jacory: Thanks coach, see ya on Tuesday then!

In our first round of the state play-offs we beat the Brooklyn Center Black Knights 21-14. I ran the ball 24 times for 165 yards and 2 touchdowns. Receiving, I caught the ball 3 times for 30 yards. On defense I had not 1, not 2, but 3 sacks! And 4 total tackles.

Coach: Yeah baby, next step Semis!

Jacory: Yeah!

Coach: Great game Jacory! I thought it was good for a safety to have 1 sack, but 3?! Incredible!

Jacory: Thanks coach

Our next game will be the semifinals against Durham!

Yeah, I only had 1 total sack in the season going into that game.

Today, the quarterfinals, (I was wrong) We came out victorious against the Durham Bulldogs 21-14. I ran the ball 23 times for only 91 yards and a TD. Receiving I had 1 catch for 9 yards. On defense I had 5 tackles and a forced fumble.

Coach: Well, not your best effort Jacory! These guys have a great run defense, they held you to only 80 yards on opening day if you remember.

Jacory: Yeah, I'm gonna have bruises all over.

Coach: Go home, and rest Jacory. We need to get you ready for the semifinals against Eagan!

Jacory: Yes, coach.

As soon as I got home I got into a nice warm bath and tried to soothe my bruises.

In today's semifinal game we took down the undefeated Eagan Crocodiles 24-14. The funny thing is that we started out losing 14-0, I carried the ball 33 times for 207 yards and a TD and caught 4 passes for 49 yards and a TD. On defense I had 3 total takcles.

Coach: Minnesota State Finals baby!

Jacory: So stoked Coach!

Coach: Great game Jacory! You're running on the final drive sealed the deal!

Jacory: Thanks coach!

Coach: Okay players, go get rested for the Championship game against Darwin who is 9-1.

Jacory: Let's go guys!

A side note, Durham's record was actually 0-10 during the reg season but here it says they're 9-1 so whatever.

In today's championship game against Darwin, we came out victorious 27-21. I ran the ball 37 times for 254 yards and a TD. I caught 2 passes for 25 yards and a TD. On defense, I had 5 tackles.

Coach: Minnesota state champions!

Jacory: Yes! I've never been happier in my life!

P.A. Announce: And the Minnesota State Finals MVP is... RB Jacory Greene!

Jacory: Yes! I'm MVP!
