Bad news for the Cardinal fans, but good for anybody else in the NL Central. Albert Pujols is out 4-6 weeks. Tough luck for him and the team.

They started off fine at the beginning of this season, but during mid-to-late-May to June, they've completely drifted off.

I like McKeon for them. Who knows, the Marlins might actually attract some fans for the first week he's there! :P

I just now found out that there is a 7-day DL that was created at the start of this season. How did it take me half the season to hear about this? Did anyone else know about it?

I think the 7-day DL is just for concussion symptoms.

Interesting. I hadn't heard of it either. I do think they ought to expand it to any type of injury, and not just concussions.
