Patriots Can Take Win Division Vs Dolphins Tonight
After a close 13-9 win, the Patriots are to take on the 1-10 Dolphins who have had the ugliest offense in the NFL this season on Sunday Night Football in Miami. The Patriots can take home the AFC East tonight as well as the Jets are now 5-7 and tied with the Bills for 2nd place, because of the division and conference rankings its tough to tell if they really will but either way they'll have it pretty much locked up with a win tonight. The Dolphins are last in points per game(11.6), last in total offense(2,233), 31st in rush offense(1,094), and last in pass offense(1,139). Their defense is 19th in total defense which is actually one spot better than the Patriots who are also 29th in the league in passing offense. They've overcome that with 25 points per game(5th in NFL) and 2,895 passing yards which is best in the NFL. Newspaper predicts: Patriots win again 27-14

Patriots Rout Dolphins Again With Strong Second Half

Week 13 -- The Patriots improved to 9-3 after another dominating effort against the Miami Dolphins. Brady had a great day throwing for 401 yards and was 31 out of 36 in pass attempts. The Patriots scored first with a 7-yard run into the end zone by Taylor but the Dolphins also scored on 5-yard run by Ricky Williams in the 1st quarter. In the 2nd, the Patriots got a field goal and a 54-yard touchdown pass to Welker to go ahead 17-7 at half time. With 5:41 left in the game the Patriots finally took over for good. On a punt at the 13-yard line of the Dolphins, Pat Chung blocked a punt and it was recovered by Gary Guyton who ran it in for the touchdown, this was the first block of the season for the Patriots on a punt. Then after the kickoff, Henne's first throw was intercepted by Brandon McGowan and he returned it 38 yards for a touchdown and just like that it was 31-7. The Patriots would then lead 45-13 with 6 minutes left in the 4th. The Patriots brought in Brian Hoyer for quarterback and Ben-Jarvus Green-Ellis as running back to finish off the final drive running out the clock for another Patriots win.

Patriots Win East In Epic Overtime Win Vs Panthers

Week 14 -- The Patriots officially clinched the AFC East as they took down a tough Carolina team 30-27 in a fun overtime game. Brett Lockett caught his first interception of the season and it turned into 1st quarter points for the Patriots on a Welker TD catch and they would go to half time up 10-7. Brady would run it in for a touchdown after an interception by Ty Warren. But Carolina would dominate at the 2nd of the 3rd with 2:09 left. First Matt Moore ran in a 13-yard touchdown to make it 17-14, then on the kickoff Matt Slater would fumble it and it would be returned for a touchdown by Brayton to make it 21-17 Carolina. Then a Brady interception would turn into a field goal to end the 3rd quarter by John Kasay to make it 24-17 Panthers heading into the final quarter. Gostkowski then hit a 24-yard field goal and after Kasay missed a 40 yarder, Brady later ran it in for his 2nd touchdown run of the game with 2:56 to go to make it 27-24. But fueled by D'Angelo Williams and a 31 yard run later in the 4th, on 7 plays and 85 yards the Panthers brought it up the field to tie it with 0:31 left in the game to send it to overtime. It was a rough overtime for both teams though. Patriots fumbled in Panthers territory on their first possession but it was given right back on Moore's third interception of the game. After a Patriots 3-and out, Moore would thrown another interception to McGowan. The Patriots on 4th and 3 at the Panthers 47 yard line decided to punt but punter Chris Hanson threw it to Brett Lockett for the 1st down but Gostkowski missed a 47-yard to keep the game going. With 1:47 left, both teams were now worried about a tie but Moore threw yet another interception, his 5th, to put the Patriots at the Panthers 45. They made a few plays and with 0:24 left in the full game, Gostkowski kicked a 30-yard field goal to win it.

Bills Pull Out Surprising Win In Very Low Scorer

Week 15 -- The Patriots took an unexpected loss to the Bills this week losing 7-6 as the Bills were able to keep the Patriots very good offense to 6 points while the Bills also managed to win their 2nd straight game while scoring only 7 points in each(has to be some kind of record). In a very windy day in Buffalo, Bills kicked Rian Lindell struggled mightily missing 3 field goals which could have given the Bills an easier win. Gostkowski kicked two field goals, one in the 1st quarter and one in the third to go ahead 6-0. But the Bills finally scored loudly with a 52-yard bomb to Jenkins from Ryan FItzpatrick to go ahead 7-6 with just 6:14 left. Brady fumbled when they had one more chance which ended a chance for a 4th quarter comeback. It was a very rough game for the Patriots running game as they averaged only 2 yards a carry and Maroney led the team with 29 yards

ohhh you said Baltimore/Pats game so I got confused

And for the Patriots they can clinch the 2nd seed in the AFC, thus a first round bye. Tennessee is a win away from home field advantage

and how about the Chiefs though. 4 straight losses after being 8-2, they were shut out twice too
