"Alright Sergeant, it won’t happen again.” Grey was on the phone with the police giving his account of the incident. No charges were to be filed, but they needed it for the league to see later. “It better not.” replied the man sternly on the other side as he hung up.

Grey sighed. How did it get here? He was an up and coming ballplayer, top condition, top instincts, even had a little Hubris to go along with it. Now he was a coach of the team that might have been as good as the God Dang Bad News Bears. The practice hadn’t gone well today, and the team dinner was tonight at Little Leo’s Steakhouse. He wasn’t in a good mood either.

“The nerve of Silver and his little cocky team, and that dang Groundwalker kid. Who the heck does he think he is?” Grey mumbled to himself. “I knew they would be there, so why did I go then? Why not tonight?” Grey knew there would be punishment, maybe even suspensions. The league had to decide quickly who, if anyone, they’d suspend, as tomorrow was opening day against the Lincoln City Lions.

Ironicly, the phone rang, and it was Mr. Goden, league Commissioner.
“Good Afternoon Mr. Grey, I hope all is well.”
“You too Mr. Commissioner.”
“After reviewing the police reports, we’ve decided to suspend Buddy George of the Oregon Apples and Ted Baer of the Zulu Stingers for two games each for starting the altercation.”
“Excuse me Mr. Goden, but Baer did nothing. It was Groundwater that attacked.”
“That’s not what Mr. Silver said. He said that George attacked Groundwater and Baer hit George. So my verdict is final. Good luck tomorrow” and he hung up.

Grey sighed, cursing Silver and the power he has. He then put on his coat, and prepared for the team dinner.

Next time, the TEAM DINNER, with choices

I kinda rushed this to give y'all something to satisfy your craving for this. I plan on using my own flair to this rather than imitating H&R's style. I hope that's ok. This is less than steallar in my opinion, but I'm taking it in smaller parts. The Dinner: Part 2 (After the choices are made) also advances the story, so I hope that it makes up for this awful update.

You're just like HaR: You keep selling yourself short! This was not bad in any way, shape, or form. And thank you for continuing this. I like your spin on it and can't wait for the next update!

Your guy did throw a punch. But don't worry, I believe in Karma, and your player won't be picked on solely. I'm likely to pick on character a whole lot
